Although the original author passed away in 2011, and the newer books are written under the same pseudonym by another (anonymous) author, it still seems logical to merge Vermeer, Suzanne with Suzanne Vermeer (Goeken, Paul) .
Or is there a clear argument behind the split?

Apparently Suzanne Vermeer is used for the books that are no longer written by Paul Goeken. In my opinion that is correct in itself, but it is probably quite confusing for users.

That's what I meant.

You can compare it somewhat with Willy Vandersteen, in fact also a pseudonym that is used by many authors.
You could at most consider replacing Suzanne Vermeer (for anonymously written books) with Suzanne Vermeer [to] .

I think more solutions are possible. For example, a good background page, such as with Paul Goeken. Jilles and I will have to think about this for a while.

Books are still being written by "Suzanne Vermeer" Another unknown writer has crawled into her skin. Suzanne Vermeer never existed. Willy Vandersteen does, we use Studio Willy Vandersteen for that. Then Marten Toonder is a comparable pseudonym that should be added to Carol Voges, Hans G. Kresse, etc.
Difficult, perhaps we can use Vermeer, Suzanne (=pseudonym).
We're going to think about it

There are more people called Peter de Smet
I will split the cartoonist from Hendrik Groen

Something went wrong with the author Peter de Smet .
The comic book author of that name died in 2003, so it cannot be the same as the author who wrote a number of bestsellers from 2014 under the pseudonym Hendrik Groen.
What book manager can correct that?

Vandersteen was not an ideal example.

we use Studio Willy Vandersteen for that.
That is indeed what the Handboek Strips (15.4.4) says.
But even with the latest Suske en Wiskes (such as #9820177 and #9820179 ) Willy Vandersteen, 33 years after his death, is still listed as a draftsman and/or screenwriter.
Shouldn't that even stop?

(Maybe I should bring it up in the Comic Forum.)

Boekenmagazijn
Been dead for 33 years and still keep drawing and writing screenplays? Punishment, punishment,...
Vandersteen founded Studio Vandersteen in 1959.
I'm going to look at the recent Suske en Wiskes (1st editions): mention 'Willy Vandersteen' on the front cover.
I'm going to look at the recent Red Knights (1st editions): mention 'Vandersteen' on the front cover.
While this means 'Studio Vandersteen'.
To which the draughtsmen and screenwriters 'and inkers, ... belonged.
And is it also the case that Vandersteen is not mentioned everywhere as a draftsman and/or screenwriter after 1990 in the catalogue..
So it needs to be adjusted.
Add 'Studio Vandersteen' everywhere after 1990. And the artist(s). And the screenwriter(s). And inkers, And...
Or were artists such as Geerts, Morjaeu, Verhaegen not associated with Studio Vandersteen?

I cannot find all pseudonyms on the internet
I can't find that he wrote The Proffesionas: Goodreads lists Kenneth Bulmer as the author.
Some things have already been adjusted and photos posted

Jilles just from parts regarding these sources consulted as information.
Unfortunately, Goodreads is not always correct. Sometimes Bulmer is the editor (by name), while he is not listed as a writer, but then again Ken Blake is..
These are not (directly) commercially related sites.

this one is probably a riddle: https://www.fantasticfiction.com/b/ken-blake/
Pseudo both by Bulmer and Holdstock
(Holdstock is not otherwise mentioned as being Bulmer).
Possible use of a Housename here??

Thanks, @ LastDodo-auto-reviewer , except that last one was intended for Ostaden, JF van (Frans Fransen) .
And according to the Details at #8653643, the pseudonym Fulano is also allowed.
