There are several time indications. In the Netherlands it is most common to use the diameter of the ring. If you have size 18 measured at a jeweler, your ring will also have a diameter of 18 mm. A jeweler and / or goldsmith has a ring size stick and / or ring sizes for this. A ring size stick usually has 4 firing numbers. The first row above it is No. Starts with no. 1 and goes up to 36. This is a Swiss designation. To give you an idea, your ring size 18 has the number (slightly more than) 16. On the same side of the ring size stick next to the Swiss indication is the code U. Below are red numbers that indicate the amount of the measured ring size. . This is 56.5 for your ring size. This can always be calculated. It's the diameter (18) x 3.14

Turn the ring measuring stick over and you have two rows of numbers again. On the left, it says US at the top. So these are the American sizes. Starts at 1 and increases to 15.25. Your ring size is US size 7.75.

To the right of the US size is the size that we normally use. At the top is neatly the code m / m and a circle with a line through it that indicates that it concerns the dianet. The diameters on it run from 13 to 24. If you slide a ring that fits you over the ring size stick, it can be slid up to 18 on the ring size stick.

There are also ring size forests. Such a forest has rings of different diameters. The smallest ring has a diameter from 13 to 24 mm. There are of course also rinmaten forests with other codes on them. Here I have one where, for example, the diameter is indicated from 15 to 22 mm with half a size increasing. There is another code on the other side from C 05 to C 19. For the sake of completeness, your ring size 18 has the code C 11.

I regularly buy something on Catawiki and it often goes well, but recently it went wrong. I received a ring, badly damaged, the size was size 17 instead of size 18 as stated, it was not white gold as stated but a dirty yellowish color, the tanzanite stone was cracked from top to bottom. I had a jeweler take a look at it and the "gold" was neither marked nor marked. According to the jeweler, a 585 was carelessly scratched: fake gold. Catawiki had estimated the ring at 2,000 euros, but my jeweler estimated it: worthless! Nothing, nothing. After a lot of calling and emailing evidence to Catawiki, I was allowed to return the ring to the seller. Seller Daizydi did not cooperate at all. From one moment to the next she suddenly no longer understood English, only Russian while I had her on the phone an hour before and then she spoke excellent English.

So I gave a negative feedback. And honestly the flaws mentioned as above. I want to warn buyers about this seller. Because it was really a hassle, I had to keep fighting for months to cancel the purchase and reclaim my 1000 euros. It turns out ... Catawiki first changed my feedback to neutral and now removed it after a week. I think this is really bad. How can you blindly trust the percentage of satisfied customers while the feedback of dissatisfied customers is simply removed?

I understand that Catawiki would prefer that everyone keeps buying and does not know anything about rogue providers, because otherwise Catawiki would not make money from it. But is this the safe buying that Catawiki is talking about?

Who has experience with this?

I see complaints about this seller in the feedback. But now also note that he REFUSES to deliver as Catawiki indicates. Anyone more troubles with this seller ????

Sinds kort ben ik verkoper van sieraden op Catawiki.

Geen PRO want het moet wel leuk blijven.

Sinds kort worden er wel veel kavels goedgekeurd maar maar mondjesmaat geplaatst.

Dit is jammer als je enthousiast bent, bovendien wordt het door Catawiki gestimuleerd dat je ook wat te veilen aanbiedt.

Dus eens even met de klantenservice gebeld, wat schetst mijn verbazing.....er zijn teveel verkopers voor sierraden en de Pro's (en misschien moet ik ook lezen Topverkopers waar geen Pro bij staat) moeten targets halen dus die krijgen meer kavels toegewezen.

Ik vraag me af hoe wordt ik ooit topverkoper als mijn kavels met 3 per week worden geplaatst, terwijl ik bij de divers niet Pro verkopers er rustig 10 to 15 kavels zie staan per week.
