In de nabije toekomst begin ik aan mijn kookboeken. Of zijn het receptenboeken? Is er eigenlijk wel een verschil?

Ik zie het. Een exemplaar staat in de Boekenrubriek, de andere in de Strips rubriek. Binnenkort wordt het mogelijk om items in de database aan meerdere rubrieken te koppelen. Nu is dat alleen mogelijk als je in de ene rubriek iets als curiosa invoert en dan als type een andere rubriek kiest.
Ik zou deze nog even laten staan tot het mogelijk is een van de twee ook aan de andere rubriek te koppelen. Dan verwijderen we een dubbele zodat deze maar 1x in de database zal staan.

Goeie suggesties voor soorten. Daar ga ik volgende week mee aan de slag. Bij verhalen ga ik als velden ook auteur en illustrator opnemen zodat je die per verhaal vast kunt leggen. Er komt straks per auteur een wiki-pagina met achtergrondinformatie. Zou het voldoende zijn als je daar het Schrijverscollectief kunt benoemen en de schrijvers op die pagina’s zo aan elkaar kunt linken?

Sinds vandaag is er een aantal zaken verbeterd:
- Het veld Boekenreeks is toegevoegd: hiermee kun je een subreeks binnen de hoofdreeks aangeven (bijvoorbeeld de Zonnebloemserie in de serie De Kameleon) of een overkoepelende serie als de Zwarte Beertjes. Het veld boekenreeks werkt hetzelfde als het veld albumreeks bij Strips.
- Je kunt een nummer toevoeging gebruiken om varianten van een bepaald nummer in de reeks mee op te nemen (bijv 1a, 1b etc).
- Je kunt meer Soorten vastleggen bij een boek.
- Je kunt de taal invoeren (voor andere talen dan de Nederlandse)
- Het bijzonderheden veld is groter gemaakt zodat er meer tekst in kan.
- Je kunt de verhalen in een boek apart ingeven. Dit is handig bij bundelingen, omnibussen etc. Wat nog niet kan is per verhaal de auteurs, illustratoren en de serie aangeven. Hiervoor moeten we eerst een dataconversie uitvoeren. Komt er aan.
- Je kunt bij druk ook aangeven of het een tweede of derde druk betreft.
Veel plezier met deze nieuwe mogelijkheden. Aarzel niet hier feedback op te geven of andere wensen kenbaar te maken.

Tijdens het reviewen van de naamgeving van uitgeverijen zie ik dat bij de U, veel namen staan die beginnen met “Uitg.”, of “Uitgeverij”.
Mijn mening hierover is dat het niet nodig is om bij Uitgeverij: de naam te beginnen met Uitgeverij of Uitg.
Per slot van rekening staat de naam genoteerd onder categorie “Uitgeverij”, niet?
Mijn vraag aan jullie is, of men het ermee eens is dat ik de Uitg. en Uitgeverij voor de namen weghaal.
