Ik ben van nature niet echt een munten verzamelaar maar ik zit me dit toch al een tijdlang sterk af te vragen: bestaan er ook apparaten die munten kunnen scannen op speciale afwijkingen, en die daarmee waardevol of verzamelwaardig zijn? Zoiets als een geldtel machine die de bank heeft, maar in plaats ze controleren op echtheid, controlereerd hij ze op uniekheid? En is het lonend voor een ondernemer, laten we zeggen een winkelier die iedere dag veel cash geld binnen krijgt, om dit allemaal te laten controleren op eventuele winstgevende afwijkingen?

I am not really a coin collector by nature, but I have been wondering about this for some time: are there also devices that can scan coins for special deviations, and which are therefore valuable or worth collecting? Something like a money counting machine that the bank has, but instead of checking them for authenticity, it checks them for uniqueness? And is it worthwhile for an entrepreneur, let's say a retailer who receives a lot of cash every day, to have all this checked for any profitable deviations?

De originele staat weldegelijk in de catalogus: #185925
Het handboek zegt dit over o.a. misslagen:
1.4.1 Varianten ontstaan door productiefouten Door fouten in het productieproces kunnen fysiek afwijkende objecten ontstaan (zoals misdrukken bij boeken of misslagen bij munten).
Zogenaamde eenlingen, individuele door productiefouten ontstane varianten die door de kwaliteitscontrole zijn geglipt, worden beschouwd als beschadigde exemplaren van het ‘gewone’ object en worden niet als variant in de catalogus opgenomen.
Als u een dergelijk exemplaar in uw verzameling of shop wil opnemen doet u dit door uit te gaan van het standaard item en het mankement bij de bijzonderheden van uw eigen exemplaar te vermelden (zie ook artikel 2).

Mogelijk heeft er ooit een speld op gesoldeerd gezeten.
Ik weet niet hoeveel een halve gulden uit Nederlands Indië of Curaçao waard was, maar dat gebeurde wel vaker met muntjes van lage waarde. De beeldzijde (portret Wilhelmina) werd als versiering gedragen, dus het soldeerlood zit op de muntzijde.

I recently came across 2 coins in an old coin box with a kind of "blob" of metal on them. I'm wondering if this is a mistake or if it could have happened somewhere later.
I personally can't find many coins with the same type of thing as this.

Maar er staat een T op het muntstuk zij het niet zoals de andere letters. (vet en mager)
Anders wil dit zeggen dat ik dan iets lees dat er niet staat.

But that is the seller's voluntary choice, as well as the buyer's choice whether or not to buy such an item.
SkeyzJe hebt gelijk dat het niet gebruiken van je eigen foto's/scans het minder betrouwbaar maakt.
Maar dat is de vrijwillige keuze van de verkoper, evenals de keuze van de koper om zo'n artikel wel of niet te kopen.
