Hans gave feedback on June 30, 2015 to a Catawiki shop that sold cameras, so I suspect he has had his great love at home for almost 1 year.

how that works is fixed somewhere on the site.

It is probably a customs stamp. With this seal on you could pass the border freely but more importantly without import duties again. The seal is proof that you already had the camera before you crossed the border. ergo you did not buy the camera abroad. Unfortunately, there is no record of which customs office used which numbers and letters.

I have a Gevabox with a metal seal on the handle.

This oval seal of tin is clamped to a tow with the letters BB, stamped in it,

the number 2062 with the letter R on the left and the letter A.

I took a look at ebay for the Minolta and Pentax cameras. The average asking price with direct purchase option is a reasonable indication of the value of the cameras.

Incidentally, I would like a clearer description in your collection (brand, type of camera and type of lens) instead of just the type with the overview photos.

Ik heb hier thuis 10 35mm films liggen waarvan ik eronderhand 3 heb bekeken.

1 film is in rotterdam gemaakt van de bosjeskerk waar werkers gehuldigd worden.

de film is gemaakt voordat de kerk gebombadeerd werd en dus bijna uniek omdat er geen filmpjes verder te vinden zijn van de kerk.

het tweede filmpje is naar wat het mij lijkt karel doorman hem zelf in indonesie waar hij toekijkt hoe er mensen geexucuteerd worden. het is op een witte marine boot en de mariniers staan in hun witte kleren ( korte broek en tshirt) op het dek.

het derde filmpje lijkt mij haast een vakantiefilm van dhr karel doorman. ik denk als ik de beelden zo zie dat hij op vakantie is in noorwegen. hier stapt hij uit het vliegtuig samen met zijn vrouw ( denk ik) er staat een hele mooi oude t-ford bij.

de rest van de filmpjes moet ik nog bekijken maar het duurt vrij lang omdat te doen omdat je alles met de hand moet draaien en oprollen. terwijl de filmpjes allemaal zo'n 40 meter lang zijn.

Nu is mijn vraag is hier interesse in om deze filmpjes te verkopen via catawiki, hoe weten mensen die hier in geinteresseerd zijn dat ik deze hier aanbied en wat is een reeele prijs voor deze toch wel unieke filmpjes.

I have 10 35mm films here at home, of which I have watched 3 in the meantime.

1 film was made in rotterdam of the bosjeskerk where workers are honored.

the film was made before the church was bombed and therefore almost unique because there are no other films to be found of the church.

the second video is what it seems to me karel doorman himself in indonesia where he watches people being executed. it is on a white navy boat and the marines are standing on the deck in their white clothes (shorts and tshirt).

the third film seems to me almost a holiday film by mr karel doorman. I think when I see the images that he is on vacation in Norway. here he gets off the plane with his wife (I think) there is a very nice old t-ford.

I still have to watch the rest of the videos, but it takes quite a long time to do because you have to turn and roll everything up by hand. while the films are all about 40 meters long.

Now my question is interest in selling these films via catawiki, how do people who are interested in this know that I offer them here and what is a realistic price for these unique films.

Well, a bit exaggerated of course, but a while ago an Ansco folding camera from 1907 was offered here. Unfortunately it was snatched right in front of me (own fault). Does anyone here know where you can still buy such a copy?

I HAVE PURCHASED THE FENCE COLECTION.

In the end, a very good decision.

After 1 auction I already had my money back.

More sellers means more pressure to lower the price, that's how it works in the market.

for more expensive items you can already set a reserve price

there may be more resellers but also fewer buyers

that is The nice thing about an auction is that you cut the knife on both sides if you want to be safe as a seller, you should not use an auction.

It would be better that each seller should be able to voluntarily set a lower limit as the minimum selling price or not. This also attracts additional salespeople, because it gives them better control. And therefore buyers do not run into the above example.

Personally, I wouldn't even want to take the lens off such a (worthless) seller anymore. Want to collect the profits but not the possible losses. Then why is he putting something up for auction? Such providers really affect the good reputation of Catawiki. Really incomprehensible and I sympathize with you.

But I think there is little you can do about this in view of the articles 4.9 and 4.10 of the User Regulations which I have copied below for the sake of convenience. In short, it means that a seller is obliged to deliver an item, but if he does not then .....

My advice is to inform the auctioneer about the seller's unwillingness again. and indicate that you have given notice of default to the seller and that you wish to receive a refund of the full amount paid (including shipping and buyer's commission) in the event of non-delivery.

Certainly not to have the purchase canceled by the seller because then he will probably not have to pay a fine. Hopefully Catawiki will also implement this provision, certainly in their own interest. And finally, give the seller a negative feedback that warns future customers about his very unprofessional attitude.
