I assume that you are referring to the text in the scan that shows the origin of the scan (in this case from a private collection)?

I also find that extremely disturbing, because firstly it often takes away part of the image and secondly I think that all images on CataWiki should be royalty-free. After all, they already get the CataWiki logo and CataWiki shouldn't have any problems with copyright, I think.
