What is the difference between a Commemorative Book and an Occasional Edition?

A commemorative book, at least the books of which I know for sure, because it is there, is published, for example, on the anniversary of an association or company. That is a one-time expense. Isn't that also an occasional publication?

this is the same distinction as a cow is an animal, but an animal is not yet a cow ...

@Morits: So you say that you also have to put the type of animal with all cows and therefore place 2 types with a cow.

And then I would like to know what the Cow is and what the animal is? I try to import books and want to know the difference. And to have the forum consulted for each book ??

well DM I thought you would get it right away. A Commemorative Book is an Occasional Publication, but an Occasional Publication can be more than just a Commemorative Book .. An Occasional Publication says something about the 'form' but a commemorative book about the content ...

I am just trying to get clarity and it is also useful for other people who also collect and do not know.

If all went well, this topic can now be found if you search by occasional publication or commemorative book. In this way, everyone can now fill in their books more clearly in this regard. I also think that the other species are not always clear, but when I come across them, you will hear (read) me again.

The bottom line now is that if you have a Commemorative Book, you always have to enter the type of Occasional Edition, because it is.
