Munt van Karel V gevonden in Grave

GRAVE - Bij de opgravingen op het Hofplein in Grave hebben archeologen van het bureau ARC een bijzondere munt gevonden.
Het gaat om een penning die nog niet in de nationale verzameling van het Geldmuseum in Utrecht voorkomt.
Op de munt staat een portret van Karel V, afgebeeld met platte pet. Karel V van het Heilige Roomse Rijk was vanaf 1506 landheer van alle Nederlandse gewesten.

GRAVE - During the excavations on the Hofplein in Grave, archaeologists from the ARC bureau have found a special coin.
This is a token that does not yet appear in the national collection of the Money Museum in Utrecht.
The coin features a portrait of Charles V, depicted wearing a flat cap. Charles V of the Holy Roman Empire was lord of all Dutch provinces from 1506.
