In the Seal section, 2 new fields have been added a few days ago: Type and Perforation .

Perforation , there we distinguish between 'Perforated' (there is a perforation) and 'Unperforated' (there is no perforation). With which the appropriate filter (left part of the overview screen) can be used.

Species was also added to make searching easier.
The following types are provided:
  • Block
  • Other
  • Se tenant
  • Series
  • Ornamental field
  • Closing seal
  • Sheet

For Blok en Velletje, the closing stamp section follows the agreements made in the stamp section.
Since we do not have a main filter in the seal section, strict application here is less important. However, we provide both to avoid confusion with definitions in other sections.
Sealing seal is the type for a loose seal, which is a closing seal.
Sierveld is the type for a loose stamp that comes from a stamp issue (tab, appendix, 'dingske', ...).
With a decorative field, it is useful if you then connect the item to the issue from the stamp section via 'Link collection area'. Then users know where that decorative field comes from.
Se-tenant currently has no restrictions in the Seal section. If too many 'combinations' emerge over time, a later restriction is possible (cf. the stamp section).
Series also applies here. Also because sometimes items from the stamp section are transferred to the closing stamp section, and these can be series. 'Series' also provide guidance and an overview.
For users: only add a 'Series' if you are really sure that the item is the complete picture (all possible individual items from the series). There are no regular catalogs of seals to check this. Anyone who knows and can add (you must have the seals in hand to create your own image) will provide other users with very useful information.
If a series is known, the name in the Series field can also be made specific to that series, and the 'Sequence number in the series' field can be optimally used.
Just like in the stamp section, 'Series' is only intended for individual closing stamps. In other words: no series of blocks, sheets or combinations.
Other is the kind that prevents the unexpected from being blocking.

An adaptation of the Seals manual is for later.

For a limited number of items, these new fields have been hastily filled in. Everyone is welcome to enrich other items.
