Even kort overleg omdat ik zag dat 'soort voorwerp' in de loop van de tijd is toegevoegd. Ik heb ze ooit in andere rubrieken (vooral 'overig') ingevoerd, maar is dat nog logisch? Hier wat voorbeelden:

Invoer altijd op basis van wat het object in de eerste plaats is.
Een peper- en zoutstel, eierschaaal en kerstornament.
En er is het veld thema.
Daar kun je toch Laurel en Hardy, eieren en kerstmis invullen.

Als je lD-nummers vermeld in een bericht graag dan het teken # voor het LD-nummer zetten.

Dat dacht ik ook altijd, maar wat zijn dan de criteria voor de 'soort voorwerp' opties:
- asbak
- peper en zoutstel
- eierdop
- kerstversiering
onder beeldjes/figures?

En niet vergeten dat er een rubriek Keramiek bestaat waar dergelijke dingen in voorkomen.
Maar dit is achterhaald, we werken nu niet meer met 'materiaal' maar met 'soort voorwerp'.
De beheerders hebben hier nog heel wat werk om een beslissing te nemen en alles te verplaatsen.

Heel dit veld 'Soort voorwwerp' dient onder handen genomen.
Maar het kan beter afgeschaft worden.
- asbak/peper- en zoutstel/kerstversiering/sierbord/spaarpot staan niet op hun plaats : horen bij Overig (kijk gewoon bij Overig) 
- nog andere benamingen zijn geen voorwerpen:  staan al of dienen vermeld bij thema's: burgers/krijgers/soldaten/dieren  
- beeld/miniatuur staat al onderr soort
- bij speelgoed staan er ook een aantal niet op hun -plaaats (o.a. verrassingsei (Overig), muziekdoos (speelgoed) e.a.) 
- wijwatervat en kandelaar kunnen dacht ik wel blijven. Voor Hummel geld de afspraak dacht ik bij beeldjes plaatsen.
Verplaats wat dient verplaatst te worden.
De rest kan je eveentueel laten staan.
Met het risico dat het wordt ingevuld .
En het is ook geen verplicht in te vullen veld.
Vraag mij trouwens af of iemand hier gebruik van maakt om bv te filteren.
Bv op soort voorwerp 'dieren' gaan zoeken terwijl het bij thema's al staat   En dan nog per dier. Dieren: Honden..

This entire 'Type of object' field needs to be taken care of.
But it would be better to abolish it.
- ashtray/salt and pepper shakers/Christmas decorations/decorative plate/money box are not in their place: belong to Other (just look at Other)
- other names are not objects: are already or should be mentioned under themes: citizens/warriors/soldiers/animals
- image/thumbnail is already listed under type
- with toys there are also a number of them that are not in their place (including surprise egg (Other), music box (toy) etc.)
- I thought the holy water font and candlestick could stay. I thought the agreement applies to Hummel when placing statues.
Move what needs to be moved.
You can leave the rest as is.
With the risk that it will be filled in.
And it is not a mandatory field to fill in either.
I wonder if anyone uses this for filtering, for example.
For example, search for 'animals' by type of object, while it is already listed under themes. And then per animal. Animals: Dogs..

Moet nog veel over nagedacht worden, maar staat niet op de prioriteitenlijst.
Voor Hummel/Goebel is een experiment gedaan om Keramiek en Overig naar Beeldjes te zetten, maar er zijn nog veel velden blanco.
Ik gooi een paar ideetjes, maar hier is niets definitief:
- Keramiek moet verdwijnen want dat is een 'materiaal'
- Alle borden, tassen en serviezen moeten dan naar een nieuwe rubriek
- Als je Beeldjes beschouwd als 'speelgoed' dan moet ook daar alle 'kunst' eruit, of net omgekeerd alle 'kunst' erin
- Als je alles van Hummel (en waarschijnlijk nog andere, vb bij kristal Val Saint Lambert heb je dan hetzelfde probleem) wil samenzien, dan moet ook het bord, lamp, asbak, ... bij Beeldjes ipv bij Overig. Dan komen we op de zeer dunne lijn van asbak als gebruiksvoorwerp of asbak als siervoorwerp.
- ... te veel om nu allemaal te beslissen.

Still needs a lot of thought, but is not on the priority list.
An experiment has been done for Hummel/Goebel to move Ceramics and Other to Figurines, but many fields are still blank.
I'll throw out a few ideas, but nothing definitive here:
- Ceramics must disappear because it is a 'material'
- All plates, bags and crockery must then go to a new category
- If you consider figurines as 'toys' then all 'art' must be removed, or conversely all 'art' must be added
- If you want to see everything from Hummel (and probably others, for example with Val Saint Lambert crystal you have the same problem), then the plate, lamp, ashtray, etc. must also be placed under Figurines instead of Other. Then we come to the very thin line of ashtray as a utensil or ashtray as a decorative object.
- ... too much to decide now.

Iedereen doet zijn best, maar er zijn zelfs grenzen aan wat mensen kunnen. Het heeft geen nut om beheerders te gaan opjagen, dat werkt meestal averechts.
Het is beter je eerst te focussen op een bepaalde rubriek, dan van hot naar her te springen. Er zijn op die manier al een aantal rubrieken beter op orde gebracht, o.a. Modelauto's.

Everyone does their best, but there are even limits to what people can do. There is no point in rushing administrators, that is usually counterproductive.
It is better to first focus on a specific section than to jump from one place to another. A number of sections have already been better organized in this way, including Model Cars.

Voor mij is het niet zoveel moeite om mijn items aan te passen. Alleen, dan is wel duidelijkheid nodig. Niet dat de items vervolgens alsnog verkeerd staan. Vervolgens kan worden samengevoegd om de andere verzamelaars mee over te nemen. 

For me it is not that much effort to customize my items. However, clarity is needed. Not that the items are still placed incorrectly. It can then be merged to take over the other collectors.

Ik heb al eerder aangeven dat dit veld van mij mag verdwijnen. Echter wordt het nu gebruikt door de beheerder van de Hummel beeldjes om beter overzicht te hebben binnen dit verzamelgebied. Als de Hummels zijn "opgepoetst", dan zullen we de onderdelen naar de juiste subrubriek verplaatsen. 
Ondertussen probeer ik de niet relevante mogelijkheden er uit te halen en die uit de keuzelijst te verwijderen. Gaat even wat tijd kosten. 

I have previously indicated that I may disappear this field. However, it is now used by the manager of the Hummel figurines to have a better overview within this collection area. When the Hummels are "cleaned up", we will move the parts to the appropriate subsection.
In the meantime, I'm trying to pick out the options that aren't relevant and remove them from the selection list. It's going to take some time.

Als je alle beeldjes als speelgoed beschouws dan moeten ze naar speelgoed. Waar is anders die rubriek voor.

Ik ben even de draad kwijt in de discussie en ik merk dat het veel stof doet opwaaien.
Is er een consensus te bereiken op de inhoud van mijn vraag zodat ik duidelijkheid krijg?

Ik denk dat in de rubriek beeldjes uiteindelijk alleen 3D objecten overblijven die geen enkele andere functie hebben dan "om naar te kijken". 
En het mag er niet uitzien als een voertuig of militair want die hebben eigen rubrieken :)
Alles wat op een of andere manier een functie of toepasing heeft hoort elders. Elders zal vaak neerkomen op "overig".
En beeldjes zijn dus geen speelgoed, want dat heeft een functie. 

I think that in the figurines section only 3D objects remain that have no other function than "to look at".
And it shouldn't look like a vehicle or military because they have their own sections :)
Everything that has a function or application in one way or another belongs elsewhere. Elsewhere will often come down to “other.”
And figurines are not toys, because they have a function.

Wat is "om naar te kijken"? Volgens mij zitten hier 2 grote dingen door elkaar. Misschien is mijn woordkeuze niet helemaal correct, maar met de categorie 'speelgoed' bedoel ik alle plastic gadgets (Emoji, Kinder Surprise) terwijl met de categorie 'kunst' je komt met echte beeldjes (Parastone, Kuifje, Hummel).
De rubriek Beeldjes heeft specifieke velden, als je dan toevallig 1 item gaat verbannen naar Overig (omdat het een spaarpot is) dan ben je alle opzoekmogelijkheden met die specifieke velden kwijt. En tenslotte ... een beeldje in de vorm van een spaarpot blijft nog altijd een beeldje.

What is "to look at"? I think there are 2 big things mixed up here. Maybe my choice of words is not entirely correct, but with the category 'toys' I mean all plastic gadgets (Emoji, Kinder Surprise) while with the category 'art' you come with real figurines (Parastone, Tintin, Hummel).
The Figurines section has specific fields, if you happen to banish 1 item to Other (because it is a piggy bank) then you will lose all search options with those specific fields. And finally... a statue in the shape of a piggy bank still remains a statue.

Is dat een realistisch scenario, @pegag? Vooral omdat de beheerders al mega veel werk hebben. Afgaande op de rubriek keramiek waarover zeker 10 jaar geleden een besluit is genomen ben ik bang dat dat een onoverbrugbare operatie gaat worden tenzij je met bots gaat werken en rechtstreeks op de database.

2. Afhankelijk van antwoord 1: Hoewel ik geen beheerder meer ben, vind ik het geen probleem om mijn items 'goed' te zetten. ik kan alleen geen andere verzamelaars, shopitems en zoeklijsten overnemen, dus daar heb ik hulp bij nodig.  
3. Ook van mij staan een aantal items in keramiek en ook bij andere rubrieken merk ik versnippering. Denk aan kerstkaarten die over enkele rubrieken verspreid staan. Hoe ga ik daarmee om? Wat is de goede rubriek en welke dus niet?
Lukt het iemand of enkele beheerders om mij een concreet antwoord te geven?
