For information: #9920907

I have searched the internet to see if more of these "leaves" are known, but found nothing. That doesn't mean there aren't more of them, perhaps other collectors still have some numbers in their possession to enter.

I came across a message about this periodical in the Vlaardingsche Courant of October 25, 1946 .

Furthermore, today I would like to draw your attention to “De Kinkhoorn”, the house organ of the CV Uitgeverij formerly C. de Boer Jr. Sarphatikade 12, Amsterdam C. In the introductory article the editors write, among other things: It (nl De Kinkhoorn) certainly wants following a mission, fulfilling an assignment. And that mission is: to bring the good book, and in particular the sea book, to the largest possible audience.”

In De Zaanlander of 25-11-1947 there is an advertisement from Uitgeverij De Boer, in which that "magazine" is recommended.

It seems like several have been released, but is that certain? Furthermore, I have not come across any more mentions or advertisements about this.

Interesting to find out, if the time ever comes.

Gr. Peter

Peter, good morning, thank you. I still don't look at Delpher enough, it is a source of historical information. I immediately printed the relevant pieces and added them to the song.

Now I'm also starting to suspect that there must be more issues, the Zaanlander, 1 year after the release of number 1, indicates "complete information about the book series Bibliotheek der septen Zeeen and Jeugdserie Vrij Vaart, where the number from October 1946 only provides a reference to page 8. In this case I had scanned all pages and added them to the catalogue.

Well, at that time people probably did not collect these kinds of small advertising newspapers and they disappeared with the old newsprint. The chance that many are still preserved is small, but who knows... Because there is now 1 in the catalogue, more may follow through other members/collectors...

Advertisements and reply cards that were included in old book editions are also a source of information.
