Vroeg me af of je je verzameling ook in een pdf of excel kan zetten? Vanuit de site?

Je krijgt de data in een Excel jasje (of in ASCII formaat, CSV, volgens keuze).
Daarna kun je er mee aan de slag in Excel, of met je eigen tools/programma's (die dan de data lezen uit de CSV).

De mooie vorm, layout en mogelijkheden zitten op LD, op het ontwikkelde platform voor verzamelaars.  Dàt is de gebruikersinterface.
De output naar Excel/CSV is voor verzamelaars die totaal andere dingen willen doen.  Dingen die niet voorzien zijn op LD, maar wel met de data (gegevens), die onderhouden worden op LD.  Maar die andere dingen moet je dan wel zelf ontwikkelen.  Tarara.

LD is geen Excel tool, en ook geen add-in voor Excel.  Je kan de gegevens krijgen in Excel formaat, maar moet er daarna wel zelf mee aan de slag.  En dàt is nou net het leuke!
Er bestaan heel goede en interessante on-line cursussen waar je kunt leren hoe je met Excel moet werken.
Met een beetje moeite kun je echt gave dingen doen, mét je eigen gegevens (verzameling) uit LD.
Je hoeft echt geen Excel goeroe te zijn hoor.  Een eenvoudige autofilter of een simpele draaitabel ... produceert al heel gave voorstellingen en zoekmogelijkheden.  Je haalt er in minder dan geen tijd je eigen fouten uit bv.  Dan kun je op LD aan de slag om je eigen fouten recht te zetten.

Onderstaand voorbeeld bv. haal je er in 5 tellen uit:

Met CSV ligt het iets moeilijker.  Misschien woon je ergens in een exotisch land, waar de basisinstellingen van Windows anders staan dan in Nederland of België?  Dan moet je uiteraard opletten met CSV.  In een CSV staan tekens om te herkennen wat de verschillende velden zijn (scheidingsteken, delimeter).  Het scheidingsteken is een van de instellingen van Windows die afhankelijk van land tot land kunnen verschillen.

With CSV it is a bit more difficult. Maybe you live somewhere in an exotic country, where the basic settings of Windows are different than in the Netherlands or Belgium? Overigens een stokpaardje van me: De V/K nummers (bij boeken en strips) ontbreken in de export, en dat is (soms) uitermate handig om te weten welke er nog in je verzameling ontbreken....

Incidentally, a hobbyhorse of mine: The V/K numbers (for books and comics) are missing in the export, and that is (sometimes) extremely useful to know which ones are still missing in your collection....

Goed dat ze er dan niet bij zitten :-P
