I used to have a paying subscription of 360 euros for 3 years. Which allowed me to place items above 75 euros. So I already paid for that at the time. And the items that are still above 75 euros in my shop, I will now have to pay extra for them again. That knife cuts both ways, they say in Belgium

The difference in price between 'Vip' (95.40 per year) and 'Top' (434.88 per year) is much too great.
The 'value' of a shop is guess work: many items have fantasy prices.
It would therefore be a better idea to take turnover as a criterion.
And then pay a certain percentage of it.
I will refrain from subscribing at these prices. Then no sales on LD, there are other channels where things are going better and are cheaper.

One more point...
The prices shown on the subscriptions page including VAT are mini-small, so that the VAT-free price appears to be the amount to be paid.

The reasons given for this step do not convince me either. I am not interested in an app and at these prices there will not be a large number of collectors. Unfortunately...
Small sellers will disappear.

Best wishes!
Marcel

Don't worry about it, everything will pass. For me it is important to still find selling fun. Don't make it a tension field for yourself, I'm not angry, but I certainly didn't expect what it says. But have respect for business is business and again what you have invested and achieved in all these years. I don't need any preferential treatment either, the effort for the catalog is my own hobby and I have never seen 1 meter as work. But to conclude, the list and content of subscriptions looks like a headache, I'm too old for that. I hope many find it a wonderful solution. I'm going to watch football again.

What happens when your annual subscription is up, is it tacitly extended? is it also indicated that you paid too much money because you end up in a cheaper subscription? and will it be refunded if you have an annual subscription?

It's a pity that it suddenly has to be so rigorous......
If I calculate back to the past 11 years, that means that about 30% of my turnover would have gone to subscription fees.
Sorry, but we're really not going to do that.
Good luck and wisdom, I hope for the catalog that this will turn out well and follow with concerned interest.........

I'm not angry, I feel sorry for the smaller collectors who occasionally sell something and use the proceeds to expand the collection.
And it is not true that it remains free for me. I have to pay a high price for that, namely making my collection public.

I am not angry,

Ah, luckily.

namely, making my collection public.

That was also public earlier, that's why. Nothing will change until December 1.

It would be nice to give all existing milestone users one year free membership…
How does it actually work after 1 December you will automatically receive an invoice if your shop has a value that is too high? or do you close it?

Rene If I take out an annual subscription, will I receive a reminder email next year?
Or will it be tacitly renewed and will I be stuck with it for another year if I don't cancel a month in advance?
I want to try it for a year, but about how what and where about canceling if I don't like it, I don't see much in the FAQ

I read it a lot in the previous posts and it also applies to me that I have a current shop value > 3000, - but only occasionally sell something and even then that means little. In short, it is not at all worth taking a paying subscription. I can choose to only put a few booklets for sale to stay below the free limit, but I doubt whether that will help me as there are quite a few restrictions.

I had fun adding hardcover graphic novels and Tradepapers in particular for fellow collectors, but I'm going to stop with that and leave LDD for the 'old-fashioned comics' again.
I keep my own collection in a much more pleasant program anyway, so the double maintenance is also eliminated. For me it was always only about the shop option, no matter how small that share was.
It's a pity because if I actually sold something, there was often pleasant contact. Then back to the (less social) Marktplaats channels.

ps: the comments about whether or not private continue to amaze me. I've never understood why on earth you want to set your comic collection as 'private'... Then you just shouldn't use a public tool like CW/LDD, but that's another discussion :)

good luck with the plans, but as far as I'm concerned, the advantages this platform had for the small hobby seller have been destroyed.

Too bad, the decision to make it a payment model has been made and that decision will not be reversed. It's take it or leave it. The fact that shops will disappear will have been considered in the choice, as there will also be those that will stay and pay.

Gina1972
Yes, it will be renewed unless you cancel it during the year. This can be done very easily by clicking on the button next to the subscription you already have.

is it also indicated that you pay too much money because you end up in a cheaper subscription?

We do not indicate this, but you can always follow the statistics of your turnover in your shop.
It is also possible to take out a monthly subscription. Then you can decide every month whether you want to continue it or whether you want to upgrade or downgrade. We do not refund subscription fees, but you can cancel them within the period. Hopefully this answers your questions.

I have had a shop at (then) Catawiki since 2010 and now Lastdodo. It has become a hobby over time. I now have a shop with a value of well over €30,000. I wonder what that will cost me. I am not registered with the Chamber of Commerce and therefore do not have a VAT number. I've never kept track of what I've earned from it, but it certainly won't be that much on an annual basis that it entails these high costs to keep my shop fun. The costs for me are about € 600 per year.
As previously told by other sellers, the "profit" margins are not that high anyway.

015steef500 , The intention is to send people a reminder before the end of the year. You can therefore easily cancel at any time during the year (via the button for the chosen subscription).

Thank you René for answering my questions.
For me that means going from 0 euros per year to 434.87
Go per year. This is suddenly a lot for a small shop.
I don't understand why it was built quietly.
Small shops are disappearing, the big shops are going to pass this on. Only losers, I'm afraid.
Finally also for last dodo

I'm going to stop too. The shop then. Selling duplicate items in your collection that you've sold over the past few years for $300 and a value of $3,000 in your shop. As previously stated by several people. An amount of a few tens per year is ok. But around 90 euros for keeping a list. Unfortunately. Personally, I was not waiting for more or better functions. And the difference between commercial parties and the small private sellers is much too great.
Don't expect to shoot yourself in the foot with this.
And making my collection public. I'll still think about it.

jaccokoopman "There goes all the input work"

Yes, and from all our free efforts (René calls it: "It was free for 10 years") larger shops will eventually benefit. They will soon notice that they are the only supplier for certain items and can raise their prices because there is no competition.

This is incorrect. Competition enough. For example for comics there are comic shops that are cheaper than lastdodo shops. Especially with new releases. In addition, there is marketplace and auction sites bobbedoes and catawiki where I have also made some nice bargains. Also for more expensive series. I bought the white Durango hardcovers well below the lastdodo shop price Raising prices results in lower turnover
