Coins/Question about linking currency in someone's search list and offer (new user)10 messages

Hoi, ik ben een nieuwe gebruiker, en ik had even een vraagje. Hoewel ik gok dat ik hierover ook wel contact op zal moeten kunnen nemen met de klantenservice, leek dit me ook niet verkeerd om te proberen. Wat ik me afvroeg is dat wanneer ik bij een bepaalde munt zie dat iemand deze in zijn/haar zoeklijst heeft in een bepaalde conditie (zoals 'Zeer Fraai', 'Proof' of 'Goed'), je de munt ook in deze specifieke conditie zal moeten aanbieden om ervoor te zorgen dat diegene over je aanbod geïnformeerd wordt. Zo heb ik bijvoorbeeld een munt die in feite tegen FDC/UNC aanzit, maar zoekt iemand deze in de conditie 'Zeer Fraai'. Nu vind ik het prima als diegene mijn munt zou kopen wanneer ik er een gewenste prijs voor kan krijgen, alleen weet ik dus niet zeker of ik hem ook moet aanbieden met de conditie 'Zeer Fraai' (in plaats van 'Prachtig' of 'FDC/UNC'), om ervoor te zorgen dat diegene ook over mijn aanbod geïnformeerd wordt. Kon dit zo 1,2,3 ook niet ergens vinden.

Hi, I'm a new user and I had a question. While I'm guessing I'll have to contact customer service about this as well, I didn't think it was a bad thing to try. What I was wondering is that when I see at a certain coin that someone has it in their search list in a certain condition (such as 'Very Fine', 'Proof' or 'Good'), you can also view the coin in this specific condition. will have to offer to ensure that they are informed about your offer. For example, I have a coin that is actually close to FDC/UNC, but someone is looking for it in the condition 'Very Fine'. Now I'm fine with the person buying my coin when I can get a desired price for it, but I'm not sure if I should also offer it with the condition 'Very Nice' (instead of 'Beautiful' or 'FDC /UNC'), to ensure that they are also informed about my offer. Couldn't find this anywhere, either.

Welkom op LD.  En meteen al een mooi ingevuld profiel: proficiat.

Het is niet nodig een loopje te nemen met de conditie omwille  van de signalen (mails) of het zoeken op de LD marktplaats.

Wie morgen het item in de conditie FDC/UNC zoekt, en je biedt het aan als 'Zeer Fraai', dan zal die daar niet wild van worden.
Wie met conditie 'Zeer Fraai' tevreden is, zal niet ingaan op een aanbod 'Zeer Fraai' waar de gevraagde prijs hoger is dan wat doorgaans voor die conditie gevraagd wordt.

En dan nog de opmerking: zelfs al 'zoeken' 5 gebruikers het item (die munt), dat is nog geen garantie dat iemand echt zal aankopen mocht er een aanbieding opduiken in een shop.
Daar zitten ook gebruikers tussen die ondertussen niet meer actief zijn op LD.  Soms tijdelijk door weet ik veel welke omstandigheden.  Soms definitief omdat bv het tijdelijke met het eeuwige werd omgeruild ...
Er zijn ook gebruikers (zoekers) die afwachten tot een shop enkele referenties heeft.  De eerste stapjes zijn de moeilijkste.

There is no need to make fun of the condition for the sake of signals (mails) or searching the LD marketplace.

Het is zoals Raoul62 zegt. Alle zoekers krijgen een bericht indien het gezochte wordt aangeboden in de door de zoeker aangegeven conditie of een betere conditie (tenzij de zoeker deze alerts bewust uit heeft gezet).

It's like Raoul62 says. All searchers receive a message if the searched item is offered in the condition indicated by the searcher or a better condition (unless the searcher has deliberately switched off these alerts).

Hallo Raoul62 en Rene, ja, zeker (wat ingevulde profiel betreft), ik kwam deze site vaak tegen bij het zoeken van munten e.d., en leek me een goede site om voor verkoop ook te gebruiken.

De 'Zoeklijst' functie lijkt me ook erg handig, want zo heb je de kans dat je aanbod mogelijk direct gekoppeld wordt aan de wens van iemand om een munt te kopen. Hoewel ik begrijp dat aankoop dan natuurlijk geen garantie is.

Maar erg handig om te weten! Dan kan (en zal) ik de munt) denk ik gewoon aanbieden in de conditie 'Prachtig' of misschien FDC/UNC, en ervan uit gaan dat degene die hem in zijn/haar zoeklijst heeft over mijn aanbod geïnformeerd wordt, indien die een met als conditie 'Zeer fraai' zocht, en hoef ik dus inderdaad niet voor een mindere conditie te kiezen als ik jullie goed begrepen heb.

Dat eerste (goede) referenties e.d. handig zijn om te hebben / krijgen begrijp ik / vind ik logisch, maar zit inderdaad niets anders op dan dat nog even af te wachten als nieuwe gebruiker.

Dat een zoeker 'Alerts' kon uitzetten dacht ik inderdaad wel ergens gelezen te hebben, maar hoe het systeem zelf verder precies werkte was me nog niet helemaal duidelijk.

Hello Raoul62 and Rene, yes, sure (as far as profile is concerned), I often came across this site when looking for coins etc, and seemed like a good site to use for sales as well .

The 'List of searches' function also seems very useful to me, because this way you have the chance that your offer may be directly linked to someone's wish to buy a coin. Although I understand that purchase is of course no guarantee.

But very useful to know! Then I think I can (and will) just offer the coin in the condition 'Beautiful' or maybe FDC/UNC, and assume that the person who has it in his/her search list will be informed about my offer, if that one with as condition 'Very nice' was looking for, and so I do not have to choose a lesser condition if I have understood you correctly.

I understand / find logical that first (good) references, etc. are useful to have / get, but there is indeed no other option than to wait and see as a new user.

I thought I had read somewhere that a viewfinder could turn off 'Alerts', but it wasn't entirely clear to me how the system itself worked.

Indien je een item te koop aanbied, dan altijd de juiste conditie aangeven waarin het item zich bevind.
Lees ook de Veelgestelde vragen (onder het ? rechtsboven in de zwarte balk), specifiek het onderdeel Verkopen.

If you offer an item for sale, always indicate the correct condition in which the item is.
Also read the Frequently Asked Questions (under the ? in the top right corner of the black bar), specifically the Selling section.

Hallo stripspeldjes Stripspeldjes, nee, althans, ik had ééntje erop gezet als Losse advertentie maar ook gezien dat iemand hem zocht in de conditie 'Zeer fraai', en wist nog niet precies hoe het werkte qua met de Zoeklijst, en toen die ook aangeboden in de 'Zeer fraai' conditie via de Catalogus (omdat ik dacht dat hij zo mogelijk gekoppeld kon worden aan de 'Zoeker'). Wat ik wel jammer vind dat het niet mogelijk lijkt om als je iets via de Catalogus aanbied eigen foto's toe te voegen. Dit omdat ik foto's erbij zelf wel erg prettig vind om de (potentiële) koper een idee te geven van de conditie, en ik hem nu óf via de Catalogus aan moet bieden zonder eigen foto's, waarbij als iemand hem op zijn/haar zoeklijst heeft daarover (mogelijk) geïnformeerd wordt, of los, met foto's, wat mijn voorkeur heeft, maar dan er geen mogelijkheid is (voor zover ik weet) dat iemand die hem op zijn/haar zoeklijst heeft erover geïnformeerd wordt. Maar goed, ik zal één van de twee advertenties inderdaad verwijderen, ook omdat ik nu meer duidelijkheid heb over qua hoe het met de zoeklijst werkt.

Hello stripspeldjes Comic Pins, no, at least, I had put one on it as a separate advertisement but also saw that someone was looking for it in the condition 'Very nice', and didn't know exactly how it worked with the Search List, and when it was also offered in the 'Very nice' condition via the Catalog (because I thought it could possibly be linked to the 'Finder'). What I think is a pity that it does not seem possible to add your own photos when you offer something via the Catalogue. This is because I really like the photos myself to give the (potential) buyer an idea of the condition, and I now have to offer it either via the Catalog without my own photos, where if someone has it on his/her wish list about this (possibly) informed, or separately, with pictures, which is my preference, but then there is no possibility (as far as I know) that someone who has it on his/her wish list will be informed about it. Anyway, I will indeed remove one of the two advertisements, also because I now have more clarity about how the search list works.

Even ter update als laatste, hoewel ik niet weet of iemand dit nog zal zien, ik ben erachter gekomen dat je ook via het aanbieden in de catalogus eigen foto's toe kan voegen (staat onderaan).. Dat scheelt en fijne optie! Bedankt verder voor jullie snelle reactie.

Just to update, although I don't know if anyone will see this yet, I found out that you can also add your own photos by listing in the catalog (see below).. That saves a nice option! Thanks again for your quick response.
