De NVPH 181af (9 cent Veth zonder zwartdruk) is een van de bekendste drukfouten van de Nederlandse postzegels. Er zijn maximaal 20 exemplaren bekend, per NVPH catalogus. Ik ben geïnteresseerd om te weten of er gestempelde exemplaren bekend zijn? Van andere klassieke foutdrukken, zoals NVPH 35f en NVPH 404f zijn gestempelde exemplaren bekend (zou er graag een hebben...ruilen/kopen/vindersloon), maar ik kan geen informatie vinden of de 181af in gestempelde staat bestaat. Van minimaal 7 en maximaal 9 van deze zegels is mij bekend dat ze postfris zijn, ik heb geen informatie kunnen vinden over the rest. Ook elke andere informatie over de 181af is welkom, ik ben al meer dan 45 jaar op zoek naar informatie, maar ik woon al 30 jaar in the VS, en heb geen/weinig tijd om in Nederland onderzoek te doen.
The NVPH 181af (9 cent Veth without black print) is one of the most famous misprints of Dutch stamps. A maximum of 20 copies are known, per NVPH catalogue. I am interested to know if stamped copies are known? Other classic misprints such as NVPH 35f and NVPH 404f are known to have stamped copies (would like to have one...swap/buy/find's fee), but I can't find any information on whether the 181af exists in stamped condition. I am aware of a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 9 of these stamps that they are MNH, I have not been able to find any information about the rest. Any other information about the 181af is also welcome, I've been looking for information for more than 45 years, but I've lived in the US for 30 years, and have no/little time to do research in the Netherlands.
