In sections where very large numbers are linked to certain collection areas, the speed was certainly not optimal when retrieving via a filter on the left.
A number of good improvements have now been made to that functionality and the result is immediately noticeable in the speed that the searched A/Z list is on the screen.

For example at Strips on the left at Series / heroes click on "ALL SERIES / HEROES"
Previously it took quite a while for the series to hit the screen, now amazingly fast.

A nice improvement for all sections, which many will appreciate.

A search box at the highest echelon would be useful.

I will add this request to the wish list.

And is now provided, in all sections I suspect. Thank you for that! It has crept in almost unnoticed for me, but it really is a big improvement. Powerful and very well done!
A child who now wants to search for 'Nagaland' when choosing the Stamp category can do so (and find it) immediately. You no longer need to know that it can be found in the list under the letter 'I'.
Whoever searches for Bommel in comics will immediately see that there is also a Bas and Bea from Bommel as a 'hero'.
Etc, ...

It might even be possible to remove duplicate entries now? Those that are included 2 times in the alphabetical list as 'Congo-Kinshasa (Zaire)' and 'Zaire (Congo-Kinshasa)'. Only record 'Congo-Kinshasa (Zaire)' . In other words: an alias is no longer always necessary, it can be included directly in the name. The search function will also get you there.
That everything of Suriname is now in one area is also fantastic. Contributes to greater clarity, and easier searching (and finding).

A few 'klutskes' may be brought together here and there for my part?
Eg: 'Belgium - Occupation of German East Africa (1916-1922)'. That is completely the area 'Ruanda-Urundi', but then until 1922. After that, the stamps are in 'Ruanda-Urundi'.
A few days ago I had to move another one. Logical error. In the OBP (Official Catalog for this area) everything is also under Ruanda-Urundi. All stamps from the Belgian Congo with overprints for use in this area, until 1931 (only then fully-fledged stamps appeared with the name 'Ruanda-Urundi').
Wondering the opinion of other Ruanda-Urundi collectors ...

Thanks for the compliment, I will pass on to the programmers who had a lot of work to do with this.
We will leave the aliases in the list, because many people simply find their way through the letters.
Any merging etc. is something for the administrators.
