Graag zou ik een oplossing zien voor het volgende probleem:
Als Catawiki i.v.m. onderhoud e.d. tijdelijk niet toegankelijk is, komt dat als een (soms nogal onaangename) verrassing.
Zo was ik vandaag bezig een 3CD, met ongeveer 65 titels, in te voeren. Toen ik vrijwel klaar was met het inbrengen van de gegevens, verscheen de mededeling dat Catawiki tijdelijk niet toegankelijk was. Het resultaat was dat alle reeds ingebrachtte informatie verdwenen is.
Mij lijkt dat, ten minste, een tijdige waarschuwing op zijn plaats is, zodat er rekening met dit fenomeen gehouden kan worden en onnodig werk voorkomen wordt.

As Catawiki due to maintenance etc. is temporarily inaccessible, this comes as a (sometimes quite unpleasant) surprise.
Today I was busy importing a 3CD, with about 65 titles. When I had almost finished entering the data, the message appeared that Catawiki was temporarily inaccessible. As a result, all information already entered has disappeared.
It seems to me that, at the very least, a timely warning is in order so that this phenomenon can be taken into account and unnecessary work is avoided.
Mij is iets dergelijks ook al eens overkomen.
Wellicht dat Catawiki zou moeten nadenken over vaste ‘maintenance windows’ op momenten van de dag/nacht waarop weinig verkeer is om changes door te voeren. Dit zou in lijn zijn met de manier waarop andere grote sites hun maintenance verrichten.
Aan de andere kant: storingen vallen natuurlijk niet te plannen :-)
Something similar has happened to me before.
Perhaps Catawiki should consider fixed "maintenance windows" at times of the day / night when there is little traffic to implement changes. This would be in line with the way other major sites perform their maintenance.
On the other hand: disruptions cannot of course be planned :-)

Vervelend om te horen Koning. Er verschijnt van te voren een waarschuwing dat er onderhoud komt, die zetten we normaal gesproken 10 minuten voordat het onderhoud begint aan. Echter als je gedurenende deze 10 minuten op dezelfde pagina bent (zoals in jouw geval vanochtend) dan is er geen contact met de server en dan zie je de waarschuwing niet. Indien mogelijk zullen we ervoor zorgen dat de waarschuwing eerder komt.

Dat is al het geval. Als er gepland onderhoud is wordt dat ’s ochtends tussen 7 en 8 uitgevoerd. Dat is een relatief rustig moment op de site.
In het geval van vanochtend was het ongepland onderhoud, dus dat was helaas niet te voorzien.

It's annoying to hear King. A warning appears in advance that maintenance is due, which we normally turn on 10 minutes before maintenance starts. However, if you are on the same page during these 10 minutes (as in your case this morning) then there is no contact with the server and you will not see the warning. If possible, we will ensure that the warning comes earlier.

That is already the case. If there is planned maintenance, it will be carried out between 7 and 8 in the morning. That is a relatively quiet moment on the site.
In this morning's case, it was unscheduled maintenance, so unfortunately that was unforeseeable.
