Omdat ik enkele verzamelgebieden aan elkaar gelinkt heb (zoals mijn CSI dvd aan csi boeken en spellen) zie ik nu de categorie “spel” en de boekenserie “csi” in mijn verzameling, terwijl ik niks heb uit die categorieen. Als ik er op klik krijg ik vervolgens de dvd te zien die ik wel heb.
Because I linked some collection areas together (like my CSI dvd to csi books and games) I now see the category "game" and the book series "csi" in my collection, while I have nothing from those categories. When I click on it, I get to see the DVD that I do have.
Dat werkt precies zoals het zou moeten.
Door die link te leggen worden ze ook zichtbaar in de andere Verzamelgebieden als curiosa.
Er komt – naar ik heb begrepen – nog wel een mogelijkheid om in je eigen verzamelgebied aan te geven welke Verzamelgebieden je daar al of niet wilt zien. Dat zou je misschien iets kunnen helpen…

@deblouw: nee, dingen zien die je niet hebt is natuurlijk onzin. Dat mag niet. Maar als ik je goed begrijp zie je toch alleen die dvd die je wél hebt?
Of zie je ook items die je écht niet bezit?
Zou het niet zo kunnen zijn dat je de dvd hebt gelinkt aan boeken en spellen i.p.v. de boeken en spellen gelinkt aan de dvd-serie? De dvd is de oorsprong (de tv-serie), dus alle andere zaken zijn curiosa bij die dvd’s. De dvd’s zijn geen curiosa bij de boeken en spellen.
Ik vermoed dat dat het is. Misschien kan je het even controleren.

Couldn't it be that you linked the DVD to books and games instead of the books and games linked to the DVD series? The DVD is the origin (the TV series), so everything else is curiosity with those DVDs. The DVDs are not curiosities with the books and games.

Neen, kijk ik bij mijn verzameling dan zie ik 8 dvd’s staan en als ik dat open kan ik Bond kiezen en dan komt Wings! en ik kan curiosa kiezen, resultaat gelijk.

Nu valt dit wel mee, maar wie linkt dan de singel, wat ik net al aangaf Engelse,Duits Frans,uitvoering terwijl dat eigenlijk niet uitmaakt voor de dvd, ik verzamel muziek en ik heb veel dingen in diverse uitvoeringen. Vanuit die optiek zou de dvd/video een curiosa zijn.
James Bond hoort niet in mijn rijtje te staan (heb ik niet) als curiosa bij muziek, geen punt dan klopt het wel
Nu vindt ik de aantallen niet echt belangrijk maar de telling kloppen niet, als je die curiosa gaat tellen als singel en als (dvd)

Het hele curiosa-gedoe is leuk, maar zorgt blijkbaar ook voor hoofdpijn. In ieder geval bij mij… (;-)
Als je dezelfde lp van Wings nogmaals toevoegt in andere uitvoeringen en daar staat ook ‘Live and Let Die’ op, dan heb je er inderdaad 2 ’dvd’s’ bij.
Feit is dat je die lp hebt.
Feit is dat het een curiosum is van James Bond.
Als je dat optelt is het dus allemaal niet zo vreemd wat we nu zien.
Misschien is het inderdaad een oplossing als bij de aantallen die worden weergegeven de curiosa worden afgetrokken. Je ziet dan per verzamelgebied precies hoeveel items je hebt en er wordt niets dubbelgeteld.
Alleen de groep Overigen blijft dan bestaan, want wat daar in zit staat nergens anders.
En de themarubrieken blijf je natuurlijk ook (nog) zien.

If you add the same Wings LP again in other performances and it also says "Live and Let Die", then you will indeed have 2 "DVDs".

Dit is inderdaad wat verwarrend. Ik denk dat we in verzamelingen en shops alleen die rubrieken moeten laten zien waar ook echt items in zitten en niet de rubrieken waaraan alleen maar als curiosa gekoppeld is. Ik overleg de impact hiervan nog even met Marco.
This is indeed a bit confusing. I think that in collections and shops we should only show those sections that actually contain items and not the sections that are only linked as curiosities. I will briefly discuss the impact of this with Marco.

Als ik op de Strips homepage in het auteursblokje linksboven op Vandersteen klik dan staat de pagina er bij mij redelijk snel zonder foutmelding. Ook als ik via de zoekfunctie zoek op Vandersteen of Studio Vandersteen dan openen de gevonden auteurs en series redelijk snel.
Gaat het bij jou nu ook goed?
Ik kan me voorstellen dat het op drukke momenten – zoals gistermiddag – wel langer kan duren en misschien een foutmelding kan geven. Van Vandersteen hebben we al meer dan 6000 uitgaven en op een druk moment zou dat nu problemen kunnen geven als die uit de database moeten komen. We werken er continu aan om de site snel te houden maar de bezoekersaantallen en de database groeien snel en er kan soms nog een probleem ontstaan op drukke momenten.

We already have more than 6000 publications of Vandersteen and at a busy time that could now cause problems if they have to come out of the database. We are constantly working to keep the site fast, but the traffic and database are growing fast and there can sometimes still be a problem at busy times.
