I have a strong feeling that miscreants are trying to crack the site:
check out http://www.dutchfree.ecard.nl/
and when I search for that I get the following messages:
There is a problem with the security certificate of this website.

ecard.nl is a domain that we also happen to have and which we linked to Catawiki. No problem.

Since yesterday I have noticed that reaching subpages takes quite a bit of time.
Am I the only one?

I have indeed noticed this, it all takes a long time before you get the next page.
Theokop, so you are certainly not the only one anymore.

Is that constant slowness or the occasional? Is it about the photo gallery or about viewing the detail info page of an item? Preferably an example if it does not occur everywhere. Which browser do you use?

Hi René, in general everything is much slower, but especially the opening of the latest…. pages really takes a lot longer than say a few weeks ago. At home I use Google Chrome, but at work I just use Explorer.

P.S. All right, it looks like having a new “mug-shot” made? LOL

The slowness occurs when you (for example) click on all new items in the option newest items catalog (under comics). If you then go to the detailed information of an item, it will go back to normal. The enlargement of the images also works well, if you then choose the "back" option (after closing the enlarged image) again, it will again be very slow

Clear. Let's take a look. I have briefly edited the topic of this thread to cover the content of this discussion.

That was a very slow page indeed. Has been resolved.

Hi Marco,
In any case, indeed the “newest items” page is now back to normal!
