It strikes me that lately it happens more and more often that the database is not up to date.

For the umpteenth time I entered an item that turned out to have been entered a few hours earlier by another user. It can happen once, but time and time again is not fun anymore.

It is slowly becoming clear that the database is no longer a priority for Catawiki. And slowly I am also starting to get the idea that I am working with the short last name for Jan.

Really nonsense, that last paragraph. Everyone has the same problem, so pouting won't help, just pay more attention while it lasts. Entering from the relevant Series and sorting in advance by 'Recently added' is usually already a good workaround. A major investigation has been going on for a while, but it appears not to be easy to find out.

If I look two hours after the first importer at (in this case) Donald Duck volume 2017 and the last number is not there, you cannot accuse me of not paying attention!

I am not accusing you of anything, but you are pretending that you are the only one who is bothered by this.

Anno 2021 I support the story of big bad wolf, my search list differs from the search list I use for orders, my contact details differ from my profile, which makes orders go wrong, so user Arco, it's still playing .

You apparently missed it, but Arco passed away last November.

Yes, it is indeed correct now, thanks for that, but purely out of curiosity, why now?

It's great that it works now, something went wrong technically.
Thanks again for raising this issue.

Also had a look at my search list problem. As it turns out, the search list that is used for the shopping cart, searches by item number. The search list that I manage myself looks at title. So you are obliged to adjust that search list in two places. Perhaps a point for improvement?

What exactly do you mean by "The search list that I manage myself"?
LastDodo search list can only be set per item number.
Something weird might happen with items migrating to another category .
Do you have examples of items that are not going well with your search list?

I used to have sexy humor in the magazine section on my wish list. Removed from my wish list a few months ago. Then I checked match with search list and promptly they reappeared. Now I have double clicked on item number, then selected list of values and then deleted it again. So remove twice from after you say 1 search list.

The Search List is compiled by you if you indicate with a catalog item that this item should be added to your Search List. You can check this by clicking on My wish list under your avatar, it contains all the items that you have marked for the search list.
This list is matched in the marketplace to see if there are shops that have items from your search list offer for sale.
But does the current search list function well?

No, I don't think so, some items have a shopping cart icon, which in my opinion means that item is for sale, but double click and it is not for sale, so again the database is not updated properly. For example, item 1634691 is in my shopping cart search list, but it is not for sale.

I have to agree with  filatroop.
I also have items in my search list with the shopping cart symbol behind them.
But when you click on the item, it turns out that the item is not for sale.

Could you make a screenshot of your search list with that item + icon and post it on the forum?

Rene has also been cleaning the database, but this is a very old problem. I think this is a piece of cake for Rene...
That's because when I put it in my shopping cart, nothing changes at all with the seller, nothing happens until ordering. If it is in my shopping cart and the seller removes it from his shop, the software does not look at who it is in the shopping cart...
Just look into the software, developer really knows where ...

Thanks for the picture. It is clear that something is going wrong. Probably has to do with the icons that were also incorrectly shown in the catalog. That has been fixed there.
