Beste verzamelaars,

Onlangs ben ik aangetreden als nieuwe beheerder voor wereldbiljetten.
Inmiddels is Blanche-de-Nevers ook aangetreden als beheerder, hij is specialist van papiergeld en waardepapieren van Duitse oorsprong.
Tezamen met superbeheerder Pokie gaan wij werk maken van de reorganisatie van de bankbiljetten rubriek.

Doublures
Een van de grootste ergernissen van gebruikers zoals ook al eerder op dit forum geuit (doublures) hebben wij meteen opgepakt.
Met trots kunnen wij melden dat eind deze week alle doublures met het woord "doublure" in de titel verwerkt zullen zijn.
Het is niet nodig beheerders berichten te zenden over nieuwe doublures die in de toekomst door u ontdekt worden. Eens per maand zullen wij dit nalopen.
Mocht u een dubbel aangemaakt artikel aantreffen, wijzig dan de titel van het jongste artikel (dus hoogste catawikinummer) in:
DOUBLURE van >catawikinummer van het artikel met de oudste invoerdatum<

Nominale waarden
Uiteraard blijven wij verder werken aan de verbetering van de catalogus. Graag vragen wij aandacht voor de "Nominale waarden" welke wij momenteel aan het goedzetten zijn.
Mocht u een nieuw biljet invoeren, dan dient als nominale waarde ingevoerd te worden: Naam, hoeveelheid.
Als u begint met intypen van "Maloti" dan ziet u meteen al de mogelijkheden verschijnen.
Dus enige goede invoer voorbeelden zijn: Maloti 10, Maloti 20, Maloti 100 etc.
Foute invoer is: 10 Maloti, 20 Maloti, 100 Maloti etc.
Zodra alle foute invoer verwijderd is zal de tabel 'nominale waarden' worden geblokkeerd zodat alleen nog juiste invoer te kiezen is door gebruikers.
Binnen de rubriek Duitsland bestaat daarnaast verschil tussen o.a. Mark, Rentenmark en Reichsmark. Gelieve hier rekening mee te houden bij invoer.

Gebruik van afbeeldingen bij artikelen
Het is de bedoeling uitsluitend gebruik te maken van eigen afbeeldingen (hetzij foto's danwel scans) voor catawiki artikelen. Met enige regelmaat zien wij invoer voorbij komen met afbeeldingen die van bijv. Ebay geplukt zijn, en aan derhalve aan auteursrechten van anderen onderhevig zijn.
Uiteraard zal de invoerder volledig aansprakelijk gehouden worden voor de (mogelijke) gevolgen van schendingen van het auteursrecht.
Zoals reeds door Pokie aangekondigt elders op dit forum, zullen dergelijke aangemaakte artikelen onder vermelding van reden worden afgekeurd door beheerders. Het aanmaken van artikelen met 'geripte' afbeeldingen kan niet worden gezien als een nuttige bijdrage aan de catalogus.

Dear collectors,

I recently started as the new manager for world banknotes.
Blanche-de-Nevers has now also taken up the role of manager, specializing in paper money and securities of German origin.
Together with super manager Pokie we will work on the reorganization of the banknotes section.

Duplications
One of the biggest annoyances of users, as expressed earlier on this forum (duplicates), we immediately picked up.
We are proud to announce that by the end of this week all duplicates with the word "double" will be incorporated in the title.
There is no need to message administrators about new duplications you discover in the future. We will review this once a month.
If you find a duplicated article, change the title of the most recent article (hence the highest catalog number) to:
DOUBLE of >catalogue number of the article with the oldest entry date<

Nominal values
We will of course continue to work on improving the catalogue. We would like to draw your attention to the "Nominal values" which we are currently correcting.
If you enter a new banknote, the nominal value must be entered: Name, quantity.
If you start typing "Maloti" you will immediately see all the possibilities.
So some good input examples are: Maloti 10, Maloti 20, Maloti 100 etc.
Incorrect input is: 10 Maloti, 20 Maloti, 100 Maloti etc.
As soon as all incorrect entries have been removed, the table 'nominal values' will be blocked so that only correct entries can be selected by users.
Within the category Germany there is also a difference between Mark, Rentenmark and Reichsmark. Please take this into account when importing.

Use of images with articles
It is the intention to use only your own images (either photos or scans) for catawiki articles. With some regularity we see imports with images that have been picked from Ebay, for example, and are therefore subject to copyrights of others.
Naturally, the importer will be held fully liable for the (possible) consequences of copyright violations.
As already announced by Pokie elsewhere on this forum , such created articles will be rejected by administrators, stating the reason. Creating articles with 'ripped' images cannot be seen as a useful contribution to the catalog.

Graag vragen wij aandacht voor de "Nominale waarden" welke wij momenteel aan het goedzetten zijn.

Ik hoop toch dat jullie dat allemaal niet handmatig doen. De Superbeheerder kan die verkeerde valuta veel sneller samenvoegen met de juiste notaties.

I hope you don't do all that manually. The Super Administrator can merge that wrong currency with the correct formats much faster.

There will be more to be done before the table is ready than the pair of wrong currencies you are referring to.
