have a peculiar note that I want to know more about

on the left a crest of an arand with open wings, on the right a bishop or saint type, in the middle a church

I presume that it comes from laos, with hebrew characters

I think 2kip from laos

can't find it in the catalog, who knows this banknote?

Het Aramees alfabet lijkt voor ons Europeanen op dat van Laos inderdaad :-)

Nagorno-Karabach is formeel onderdeel van Azerbeidzjan, echter defacto een zelfstandige republiek. De catalogus van Krause vermeld het niet als zelfstandig land, nog zijn deze biljetten daarin opgenomen. Geen enkel land in de wereld erkent namelijk Nagorno-Karabach.
Hier op catawiki erkennen wij Nagorno-Karabach wel :-D
Het zijn geen fantasiebiljetten en inderdaad zeer bijzonder door de Christelijke afbeeldingen.

Nagorno-Karabakh is formally part of Azerbaijan, but de facto an independent republic. Krause's catalog does not list it as an independent country, nor does it include these banknotes. No country in the world recognizes Nagorno-Karabakh.
Here on catawiki we do recognize Nagorno-Karabakh :-D
They are not fantasy banknotes and indeed very special because of the Christian images.
