I think an Isurus hastalis .. common shark tooth.

That's right, is a fossil shark tooth. 4 cm is quite a large tooth. In Zeeland (Zeeuws Vlaanderen) you can find quite a lot of fossil shark teeth on the beach. These are usually a lot smaller 1-1.5 cm.
