Ik ben in het bezit van een circa 17 jaar oude, originele set van Arden Sculptures gemaakt door Christopher Holt. Het betreft Sneeuwwitje en de zeven dwergen. Alle dwergen zijn bewerkt met diamantjes en daarnaast bezit ik het originele showdisplay ('de grot'). De zeven dwergen en sneeuwwitje zijn in uitstekende staat, aan de achterkant van de display zitten wat kleine beschadigingen die niet opvallen. Daarnaast bezit ik de houten standaards die met de losse beeldjes geleverd werden. Ook heb ik de originele verpakkingen en de certificaten nog.
Zou iemand mij meer vertelllen over deze serie en de eventuele waarde?

I own an approximately 17 year old original set of Arden Sculptures created by Christopher Holt. It concerns Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. All dwarfs are decorated with diamonds and I also own the original show display ('the cave'). The Seven Dwarfs and Snow White are in excellent condition, the back of the display has some minor damage that is not noticeable. I also own the wooden stands that came with the individual figurines. I also still have the original packaging and certificates.
Would someone tell me more about this series and the possible value?

Als je even googled met zoektermen "Arden Sculptures Snow white Christopher Holt" kom je genoeg aanbiedingen tegen op andere verkoopsites waarvan ik de naam niet op het forum mag vermelden. Je kunt dan zelf ongeveer de waardes van de beeldjes inschatten.

Dank voor het antwoord. Ik had inderdaad al gegoogled, maar het zijn niet dezelfde beeldjes die ik tegenkom (behalve sneeuwwitje). Het gaat mij ook niet eens zozeer om de waarde voor eventuele verkoop (dat ben ik niet van plan), maar meer om het verhaal erachter. Juist omdat ik steeds de andere beeldjes tegenkom, ben ik benieuwd naar het verhaal achter de beeldjes die ik in mijn bezit heb. De showdisplay ben ik namelijk helemaal nergens tegen gekomen, net als afbeeldingen (op één na) van de serie die ik bezit (ik heb overigens wel al op deze site er iets kort over gelezen, maar dat bood ook niet echt verdere informatie). Kort gezegd: de editie zoals ik deze (compleet) in mijn bezit heb kom ik nergens tegen. Ik vraag mij dan ook af of dat wat ik in mijn bezit heb een speciale editie is, of iets dergelijks?

Thank you for the answer. I had indeed already googled, but they are not the same statues that I come across (except snow white). For me it's not even so much about the value for any sale (I don't intend to), but more about the story behind it. Precisely because I keep coming across the other statues, I am curious about the story behind the statues that I have in my possession. I did not come across the show display at all, just like images (except one) of the series that I own (I have already read something briefly about it on this site, but that did not really offer any further information). In short: the edition as I have it (completely) in my possession I will not find anywhere. I wonder if what I have in my possession is a special edition or something similar?

En waar kunnen we die "prachtige" beelden met entourage in CataWiki vinden ? Als verzamelaar van Disneyana ben ik altijd geiinteresseerd in alles wat met Disney te maken heeft. Van deze beeldjes had ik nog niet gehoord, denk ik. Maar afbeeldingen zeggen meer dan woorden, dus plaats ze op CataWiki en/of plaats de link hier in het forum.
Heb je ze gekocht als 1 geheel en zijn ze alleen zo te koop ? Als ik jouw verhaal zo lees, waren ze ook los te koop. Dan moet je ze ook los invoeren in de CataWiki Catalogus en misschien wel handig om dan als afbeelding 3 een afbeelding van het geheel met display. De display zelf kan je bij Overig invoeren.
Ik ben zeer benieuwd.
And where can we find those "beautiful" images with entourage in CataWiki? As a collector of Disneyana I am always interested in everything related to Disney. I don't think I had heard of these statues yet. But images say more than words, so post them on CataWiki and / or post the link here in the forum.
Did you buy them as a whole and are they only for sale like that? If I read your story like this, they were also for sale separately. Then you also have to enter them separately in the CataWiki Catalog and it might be useful to have an image of the whole with display as image 3. You can enter the display itself under Other.
