Hello dear people! I have been looking for a brand of glass bowl for a while. I always end up on this forum, so I just created an account and hope that someone knows more about it. What I remember thinking is that it was an Italian brand. I don't think it's a Murano (even though the bowl fits in very well with the Murano style), there is a stamp on the bottom with a logo. A crown and a few letters that spell goldan (can't read it properly) Anyone who can give me some more information?

This goes from 0.30 to 2000 euros. Depending on age, quality and rarity. Is it leavened, painted or enamelled, for example, also counts.
I myself have only been working for a year and a half. I only collect Wilrijk and Hoboken, but I already have a lot of other glasses. From glasses to bottles, beer tickets, labels, ...

Welcome to LD as well. Try using LD for some other things as well. You will be amazed at what you can 'manage' on LD (= LastDodo).

In every hobby you collect something, and you can put that in your own collection on LD. Or ... if it's not already there, add it yourself. Everything anyone learns about it can then be added there. If you then have the same question, you can usually find the answer in the catalogue.
Glasses can be found in the section 'Glass and crystal'. You can learn a lot from that.

You can also buy and sell with LD. Monetize double things to create a budget with which you can expand your own collection ...  And that in a fairly effective way.

And especially dress up the profile a bit: Name (first name) and  Fill in country eg.

Success.

The German Schott Zwiesel has been making wine glasses from the best crystal glass since 1872.

In 2002 Schott Zwiesel developed the Tritan crystal glass. This glass is extremely hard and therefore less prone to breakage than other glasses.
But I really wouldn't know how to test whether your glass is from before, or after, 2002 ...

Hello everyone,
I have recently been allowed to collect beer glasses.
The price is a little different everywhere...
Now that the flea markets are back on the rise I would like to know how much you average per give a glass or ask?

Thank you in advance,
PJ

You could start by entering these items into the catalog with the data you do know.
Such as Designer, Dimensions, Color, Country.
Then other collectors may be able to supplement the data.
Here are already a few copies of Menno Jonker .

Good day,

I came into possession of 4 beautiful glass objects by Menno Jonker, which were blown by Arie van Loopik (I suspect). All 4 of them are signed 'Menno Jonker 2001 AVL'

However, I do not know the name or series of the objects, nor whether they are limited editions. And I couldn't find anything about it on the internet.

See 2 photos below.

Can someone help me? My thanks would be very great!

Hello!
After a long search, I have found an answer to your question:

The glasses with the crown and the letters HC are from Josair (made by Josephinehutte) made in Germany between 1964 and 1981.

I also have a Josair collection.

Please :)

Kind regards,
Maja

Google immediately gives hits on Glass dragon thailand. Not exactly the same, but they look similar.

And handmade naka thai lucky dragon is sometimes underneath.

Hello,

I once received a glass dragon statue from a family member. he had brought it from SE Asia. Believe Cambodia or Thailand.

Now I haven't really thought about it all this time, but since I've been redecorating the living room for a few days, I now want to know a little more about the object. (It is listed in the catalog as a glass dragon)

Does anyone know what kind of glass has been used? (it is very thin and fragile)

Is there anyone else here who owns or has ever encountered this image or anything like it? (I could not find it via google).

By the way, there is no brand or name. Thanks in advance.

I have more information, I adjust the item. 8418521

My advice is; wait until we have a little more insight into expanding the rubric fields. Work you do now may have been useless in the future because we will organize it differently.

In addition to the Manufacturer field, a Brand field can then also be added. And also, as mentioned earlier, a field Type.

Can an administrator provide instructions for the following: - Manufacturer: for vases and figures this is the factory where it is made, does this mean for beer glasses and lemonade glasses that this must be (almost) empty and that the drink brand / brewery belongs under series or other field (if not, if I have it exceptionally I still know I can not specify 2 manufacturers) - What is the difference in definition between Lemonade Glass and Long Drink Glass? Based on shape, most cola glasses have to go to Long drink glass, based on drink then again to Lemonade glass. And what about a long drink glass not of a drink (eg Gaston Flater)? Now it is a bit mixed up and that is confusing. Just combine all Long Drink Glass with Lemonade Glass and then you probably don't like the Long Drink Glass model? - Model Lemonade Glass: I have already removed some wrong things and would now slowly clean up. Do you give instructions or can I come up with something myself? Eg Low, Medium, High, Long drink, Straight, ...

Maybe Carafe ? No, then Water jug (Pitcher, Ewer) is better for now. As long as there is only one of them, it doesn't matter much.

You must have noticed that there is only 1 sub-manager. So you have to consult with the super administrators.

I would like to take up the challenge of the cleanup, but after approval from the administrators (possibly via pb instead of forum). I have already changed dozens but I want to know if I am not doing anything wrong. However, we don't have to wait: if we assume that the overarching Object Drinking Glass is missing and that Type is now Object, an IT person will solve that. Ps: I have already seen the Heineken jug, but Schenkkan does not exist and Water jug is not allowed because it is not water? So appointments. All respect for the voluntary work of everyone, but I have already looked around in a few sections and whenever I find a clean-up project, this cannot be done without administrators and we continue to wait.

It would be nice if it could be programmed in such a way that, when entering a Drinking glass, you could only choose between the types and models of drinking glasses under Type and Model. Because there are a lot of terms in those areas that have nothing to do with glasses.

And a link should be possible between eg glasses Beer mugs and earthenware Beer mugs .

There is an umbrella description: Drinking glass. Then you can subdivide it into Type (missing field at glass and crystal) eg: Beer glass, wine glass, lemonade glass etc. Followed by model: mug, vase, whistle… (beer) chalice, flute, rummer… (wine). Also a field Advertising / Theme

Then looks like this

Object: Drinking glass

Type: Beer glass

Model: Whistle

Advertising / Theme: Heineken

So please wait until we can add extra fields.
