Zo'n beetje de degradatie in verzamelaars bij cadeaukaarten: 1. Plaatje, jaartal, herdruk, serienummers, misdrukken, proefdrukken. 2. Plaatje, jaartal. 3. Plaatje. Sommige sparen weer alleen reclame kaarten, andere weer alleen de kerstkaarten, de één alleen Nederland, de ander ook een ander land er bij en sommige de hele wereld. Van de Bijenkorf zijn er zeker 2000 kaarten geheel onbekend, dit zijn bijna allemaal reclamekaart uitgiftes en vrijwel onmogelijk om aan te komen.
Het houd het ieder geval wel spannend voor de cadeaukaart verzamelaar :-)

Alleen jammer dat het toegevoegde nummer (nog) niet zichtbaar is en ze automatisch op chronologische volgorde krijgen (nog) niet werkt.

Deze zin geeft al enigszins aan dat het een complex onderwerp is denk ik :-) Maar we gaan zeker nog wel een centrale landenlijst, themalijst e.d. realiseren hoor.

Het opvullen van een lijst 'Land' verloopt via een standaard routine (of functie), opgeroepen met een parameter. Bv: Recent, Oud ... Dat kan dan uit het veld 'groepering' worden gehaald. Bij code kan de ISO code worden opgenomen, bij LNDcode de afkorting op de auto-nummerplaten, ... Wellicht zijn er ook verzamelaars van nummerplaten (ook ik heb zo van die grillen :)). Er staan er 11 op LD. Zoek zoek zoek, en je zult ze ooit vinden ... met een afzonderlijke rubriek, gegarandeerd supersnel success. Met Werelddeel kun je dan eventueel weer gave dingen gaan doen in de navigatie, of in de stats, Korte tekst als er weinig plaats is op een lijst of scherm, lange tekst als de omstandigheden dit toelaten of vereisen, ... Mogelijkheden zat. De grootte van de vakjes op de Community zijn niet aangepast aan wat ik allemaal kan bedenken. Eén dataveld, één routine, sturend van uit één tabel. 'Recent' voor rubrieken als bv. Video Games, '*' voor bv. munten, 'Oud' voor bv. Postzegels (is een redelijk moderne uitvinding). Een volledige matrix met alle rubrieken is ook mogelijk, maar dan is de tabel volatiel in beide dimensies. Compromis is één veldje met een 'Groepering' of 'Graad'. Enkele landjes meer in een keuzelijstje Land in een rubriek is niet zo erg. Die zie je alsnog verschijnen (als zowel gebruiker en/of beheerder) en kun je wel corrigeren indien nodig. Soms klikt iemand een item te hoog of te laag, of speelt die met robotsekwenties. Bv 'Serie' in 'Soort' bij 'Postzegels' = klik de lijst aan en druk 2 x na elkaar S. Se-tenant is de eerste, Serie is de tweede. Als daar plots een S-soort alfabetisch tussenkomt ... Moet er een land/gebied bij komen? Dan vult iemand netjes het tabelletje aan met een lijntje gegevens. Komt daarna overal netjes ter beschikking in de rubrieken waar nodig (op basis van de gegevens uit dat lijntje). En overal onmiddellijke impact op de filtermogelijkheden (linkerdeel galerij).
tbl_hlp_thema idem dito. Ipv 'werelddeel' daar uiteraard een andere logische consolidatie. Bv. een kolom 'hoofdthema' met daarin bv. Flora (voor paddenstoelen, bloemen, rozen, bomen, sparren, dennen, grassprietjes, ...). Wie een themaverzameling Flora in postzegels heeft, die wil bv. ook de paddenstoelen er bij in een selectie. Hier en daar, waar ik 'Flora' had toegevoegd bij het thema 'Paddenstoelen', zie ik dat thema stelselmatig geweigerd worden (rood). Jammer als je thema Flora verzamelt ... Dan moet je alle thema's gaan overlopen en al die verschillende selecties in afzonderlijke schermen naast elkaar op het computerscherm zien te krijgen. De overlapping neem je dan ook er bij. Met een consolidatiegroep (in de filters links) los je die discussie meteen ook op. Eén tabel, overal gered.

With a consolidation group (in the filters on the left) you immediately solve that discussion. One table, saved everywhere.

Van sommige velden, zoals bijvoorbeeld Land, Thema e.d. zou je ook een centrale lijst willen hebben, dus ook de inhoud van zo'n veld centraliseren. We zijn daar met Land al wel weer bezig geweest. Wat je dan wel ziet is dat voor sommige rubrieken intussen verdwenen landen relevant zijn (zoals voor postzegels) maar dat dan weer niet zijn in andere rubrieken (in bijv Video games).

Titel, taal, nominale waarde, EAN code, Thema, Reeks, Volgnummer in de reeks, Ontwerper, Uitgever, Jaar, Maand, Dag, .... In bepaalde rubrieken zou dan vroeg of laat toch nog wel eens de vraag kunnen komen om toch maar ook bv. het veld thema toe te voegen. Als de zaadjes al geplant zijn ... In de front-end hoeft dan die benaming niet gebruikt te worden. Een veld EAN bij Video Games kan bij boeken of strips ISBN genoemd worden. Ontwerper kan bij postzegels Ontwerper/graveur genoemd worden, Reeks kan bij postzegels Uitgifte genoemd worden, Nominale waarde kan bij strips 'Vermelde verkooppijs' genoemd worden (voorgedrukte verkoopprijs op het stripalbum), ... Maakt het misschien ook eenvoudiger nieuwe rubrieken op te leveren (basisset velden is er al, met hun verwerkingscode). Maakt het misschien ook gemakkelijker onterecht gedeporteerde items terug te halen (Ruanda-Urundi tax-zegels die naar de verdoemenis werden versjacherd, en niet terug kunnen keren omdat de belangrijkste eigenschappen daardoor verloren zijn gegaan). Zoals in de aanvang gezegd: het is maar een ideetje.

Dat had ik ergens gezien in het betreffende forum: de EAN code als afzonderlijk veld. Was ongeveer zo'n 10 jaar terug beloofd :). En idd een veld dat nogal ruim in de LD cataloog zou kunnen ingezet worden. Een ding dat in meerdere exemplaren wordt gemaakt beantwoordt aan de definitie van LD van wat er op mag. En een ding in meerdere exemplaren gemaakt ... dat is een artikel met redelijke kans op een EAN nummer.
Zoals onlangs het veld 'uitgever' bij postzegels (vooral belangrijk bij FDC, EDB, EDK, FDS, ...) op de lijst zou gezet zijn. Maar ik weet niet zeker of het er op staat. Met de opkomst van de privé postkantoren eigenlijk ook al interessant voor de items uit die rubriek die zegel zijn ook.
Zoals een tijdje terug ik gevraagd had naar een veld 'Nominale waarde' bij de sluitzegels (met of course zoals in postzegels de bijhorende filtermogelijkheid in de galerij). Niet levensnoodzakelijk, maar copycat met groot voordeel (TBC zegels Nederland, Duckstad zegels, ...).
Vandaar ook mijn vraag, of die lijst ergens kan ingezien worden (wat is nu op de lijst, voor alle rubrieken, vermeld). Op den duur zou je het niet meer weten wat nu wel of niet op de lijst staat. Een mens geraakt er een beetje zijn pedalen bij kwijt. En ik niet alleen merk ik :)
I saw that somewhere in the relevant forum: the EAN code as a separate field. Was promised about 10 years ago :). And a field that could be used rather broadly in the LD catalog. De lijst met aanpassingen is in het verleden naar Arco gestuurd en die had het doorgestuurd naar de programmeurs en het zou op de lijst van aanpassingen staan, misschien dat Collectioneur dat kan inzien? Anders moet ik dat even opnieuw inzenden, zonder de velden kunnen we inderdaad nog niks doen, zelfs geen titel invoeren!, de cadeaukaarten catalogus is ook sinds zijn begintijd nog niet verbeterd qua invoer velden. Raoul62 vroeger was Arco het aanspreek punt bij de videogames, hij heeft wel wat zaken verbeterd maar nog niet alles, bijvoorbeeld een spel bij serienummer kunnen invoeren zoals Sony dat heeft is nog niet mogelijk.

Er zou nu op die lijst bovenaan, vwb de timing, kunnen vermeld worden: 'We wachten op het afronden van de grote klussen vooraleer we dit aanpakken (situatie op 21/09/2021).' Als die lijst ergens centraal te bekijken valt, dan kan iedereen die het wenst daar nakijken of de planning zich al in een meer concrete fase bevindt. Per rubriek zou dan later de concreet voorziene datum/periode kunnen vermeld worden. Met een aanspreekpunt ... soms is de 'beheerder' niet het aanspreekpunt (heb ik de indruk voor bv. de rubriek Video Games).
