Unfortunately, it meets neither the first nor the second condition:

2. An FDC that consists of an envelope specially produced for the stamp issue may be included in several variants.
This envelope was not specially created for the stamp issue. Since the product does meet the basic definition, I would certainly include the item in the catalog. But whether this is just once or in multiple variants remains a question mark.

The commerce industry wanted to benefit from the flood disaster of 1953. All store daughters (residual stock) were used so that they could be sold to collectors. Stamps and the surplus of unused 'FDC' covers from 1950 were also gladly used.

Nog een kleine opmerking westfriesland-stamps , het is ook mogelijk een koppeling te maken van Eerste-dag Stempels(3) (dus Overig-Poststempeling) naar de rubriek postzegels. Je kunt dan rechtstreeks naar de gegevens van de postzegel (en shop), vanuit jouw eerste dag afstempeling en omgekeerd is ook mogelijk. Zie bijvoorbeeld #10319759 , Verwijzingen naar andere rubrieken. Let niet al teveel op de invoer van dit item, zoals gezegd, onontgonnen gebied !.

Ik zie net deze binnenkomen: #10319193. Watersnoodzegel met dagtekenstempel op envelop Kerken in oorlogstijd #3606683. De zwarte balk op de Watersnoodversie zit over de oorspronkelijke tekst heen en er is Watersnood toegevoegd.
Hoewel grappig bedacht: is dit Watersnood-ding niet gewoon vals maakwerk?

Jammer dat diegene die dat voorwerp (FDC) in Overige heeft toegevoegd geen gebruik heeft gemaakt van 'Weet je veel van dit verzamelgebied? Voeg achtergrond info toe' ... Razend benieuwd naar de uitleg/achtergrond ... ik kan er zelf geen enkele verzinnen.
Too bad whoever added that item (FDC) in Other didn't use 'Do you know much about this collection area? Add background information '... Very curious about the explanation/background... I can't think of any myself.

Je kunt natuurlijk wel, in je eigen verzameling, afbeeldingen en opmerkingen plaatsen. Deze staan dan onder de gewone zegel. Ook kun je vanuit de gewone zegel, postzegels met een eerste dag afstempeling aanbieden voor verkoop. Conditie is dan gestempeld, het beste een opmerking erbij gezet, dat het een eerste dag afstempeling is, en een scan erbij geplaatst.
Een andere mogelijkheid is de rubriek Overig- Poststempeling [filatelie] . Hier staan de soorten Eerste-dag Stempels(3) en FDC(25) . Dit is nog een beetje onontgonnen gebied, maar hier is wel de mogelijkheid, om postzegels met een eerste dag afstempeling te plaatsen als afzonderlijk item.
