Stamps #329549 and #344323 contain a surcharge according to the catalog, but I cannot detect it on the stamps. So it was quite a search to find them. Am I looking wrong, do they contain the wrong denomination or is there something else going on with them?

ApiSta Without knowledge of the stamps involved, I would like to give you a general explanation: the Nominal value field is the value stated on the stamp (easy to look up/filter), additional comments belong in Details.

Indeed, as Jummeke says and as you yourself indicate, the surcharge is not indicated on the stamp ApiSta. The oval-shaped year indication says that the stamps are from 1914. The surcharge is indeed not stated there.

The surcharge is indeed not stated there.
In other words, is this saying that they contain the wrong nominal value?

Perhaps it was indeed incorrectly declared in 2009 by collect-a ApiSta and only now discovered?. Perhaps a collector/manager from Austria can provide more clarity here?

The majority of the Austrian stamps with a surcharge, issued before 1938,
do not show the value of the surcharge on the stamps. The just show the
nominal value only,i.e. theirs franking value.

ApiSta The Yvert catalog contains these two numbers 136 / 137 with nominal value 5 (+2) green, 10 (+2) rosé, so they look good in last dodo

Petvre So as I said, it doesn't look good. I could adjust it, but I don't know enough about it. Are you doing the necessary since you have the confirmation?
Nominal value: 5 and 10
Details: Value 5(+2) and 10(+2), tax on war works.

And it is complete if you also check the "Surcharge" theme, as is done with all Dutch children's stamps.
