In de Iran verzameling zitten een aantal biljetten met een stempel of anderszins toevoeging aan het originele biljet. Tot nu toe is daar in de de literatuur niets over terug te vinden. Wie kan ons wegwijs helpen hoe het nu zit met deze stempels en opdrukken.

Met de tulpenrevolutie van 1979 werd het hoofd van Sjah Pahlavi overdrukt met tal van ornamentstempels, om ze in het Iran te kunnen laten rouleren totn het moment dat er nieuwe bankbiljetten kwamen.
With the tulip revolution of 1979, Shah Pahlavi's head was overprinted with numerous ornamental stamps, in order to be able to rotate them in Iran until new banknotes arrived.
