Ik heb bij de categoriën (series) pokemon kaarten gezien dat als bestaande kaarten aangepast worden de sorteer volgorde in sommige gevallen niet meer werkt
Als voorbeeld in deze categorie staat kaar nummer 055/182 bovenaan in plaats van in de sequence

Het klopt gedeeltelijk wat je zegt. Niet de tekstvelden maar een aanpassing van het nummer zorgt voor het verschil in de sorteervolgorde.

Op het moment van invoeren wordt er automatisch een sorteerveld ingevuld (ongeacht of er iets is ingevuld in het veld Nummer in set) om het item de juiste plaats te geven in de serie. Bij genummerde kaarten betekent dit dat alles op volgorde komt te staan en iedere wijziging in het veld zorgt niet meer voor een verplaatsing in de serie, bij items zonder nummer wordt het automatisch op alfabetische volgorde gezet.

Als voorbeeld:
Je voert een kaart in met nummer 1 dan krijgt die een A als positiebepaling. Na het invoeren zie je dat je helemaal verkeerd hebt gekeken en moet die 1 een 11 zijn. Dan is 1 zo veranderd naar 11 en is de kaart goed.
Echter de positiebepaling met letter A zorgt ervoor dat de kaart ondank het goede nummer 11 nu vooraan blijft staan.
Was het kaartnummer meteen goed ingevuld dan had 11 een B als positiebepaling gehad en is er niets aan de hand.

For numbered cards, this means that everything is put in order and any change in the field no longer causes a move in the series, for items without a number, it is automatically put in alphabetical order.
