Waarom is er zoveel rivaliteit tussen Catawiki en Colnect?
Als ik iemand van Colnect spreek over Catawiki dan lijkt het of ik een vies woord heb gebruikt. En andersom is het eigenlijk net zo.
Als ik een mening heb en er over spreek word ik afgeschildert als een opschepper
en denken dat ze mij kennen als ze mij eenmaal hebben gezien.
Catawiki is een site voor en door verzamelaars > geldt ook wel een beetje voor Colnect
zonder inbreng van verzamelaars is geen van beiden goed.
En ja ik zie ook wel dat er verschil is tussen beide, catawiki geeft meer informatie
over de zakjes, maar als ik er bv een gewicht bij zet krijg ik te horen dat die info niet op het zakje staat en derhalve niet in de catawiki mag worden opgenomen.
Onzin vind ik dat, dan kun je wel meer info achterwege laten die er niet op staat, jaartal bv. of bij sommige zakjes land van herkomst. Ik dacht dat het de bedoeling was om een zo compleet mogelijke catalogus te maken met alle info die er is.
Iedereen die wil of kan, mag informatie delen met catawiki lijkt mij > scans van theezakjes zet ik er zelf op, zoals vele duizenden andere gebruikers. Fouten kunnen we allemaal maken, maar die lossen we op. (moet geen punt zijn)
Bij colnect zijn het maar enkelen, tov de vele verzamelaars die info aanleveren, die de afbeeldingen op colnect zetten. Daar hebben ze voor gekozen.
Als u denkt dat ik het mis heb met bovenstaande info dan mag u mij overtuigen.
Het zou goed zijn dat als de ene site 100.000 zakjes erop heeft staan, de andere dat ook heeft. Niet met het oog op rivaliteit maar om zo compleet mogelijk te zijn.
Why is there so much rivalry between Catawiki and Colnect?
When I talk to someone from Colnect about Catawiki it seems like I used a dirty word. And the other way around it is actually the same.
If I have an opinion and speak about it I am portrayed as a show-off
and think they know me once they see me.

And yes, I also see that there is a difference between the two, Catawiki provides more information
about the bags, but if I add a weight, for example, I am told that that information is not on the bag and therefore may not be included in the Catawiki.
I think that's nonsense, then you can leave out more information that is not on it, eg year or country of origin for some bags. I thought the intention was to make as complete a catalog as possible with all the info there is.
Anyone who is willing or able to share information with Catawiki seems to me & gt; I put tea bag scans on it myself, like many thousands of other users. We can all make mistakes, but we solve them. (should not be a period)
At colnect it is only a few, compared to the many collectors who provide information, who put the images on colnect. They have chosen that.
If you think I am wrong with the above information then you can convince me.
It would be good that if one site has 100,000 bags on it, the other has it too. Not with a view to rivalry but to be as complete as possible.

Ik ken Colnect niet en ik ben geen theedrinker of -verzamelaar.
Maar ik zie dat deze rubriek wel een Handboek Theezakjes heeft (wat ik niet kende), waarin uitgebreid vermeld staat welke regels overeengekomen zijn, o.a. voor de vermelding van Gewicht.
Zo'n voorschrift mag je onzin vinden, maar meestal zit er wel een goed doordachte reden achter. Dat wil niet zeggen dat er nooit iets kan veranderen, zeker wanneer je overtuigende argumenten kunt geven waarom het anders zou moeten.
P.S. Het zou voor gebruikers misschien duidelijker zijjn als bij de invulvelden op de pagina "Nieuw item toevoegen aan catalogus" een korte toelichting zou staan (bv. dat het veld gewicht niet ingevuld wordt als het niet op de verpakking staat).
I don't know Colnect and I am not a tea drinker or collector.
But I see that this section does have a Handboek Theezakjes (which I did not know), in which It is extensively stated which rules have been agreed, including for the indication of Weight.
You may think such a prescription is nonsense, but usually there is a well-thought out reason behind it. That is not to say that nothing can ever change, especially when you can provide convincing arguments as to why things should be done differently.
P.S. It might be clearer to users if the entry fields on the "Add new item to catalog" page had a brief explanation (eg that the weight field is not filled in if it is not on the packaging).
Ik wil wel even duidelijk zijn dat dit geen aanval is op catawiki, colnect of alle beheerders, die doen uitstekend werk. Met of zonder behulp van verzamelaars.
Wat betreft het gewicht op de site, het staat inderdaad in het handboek. Daar had ik even niet bij stil gestaan. Zo zie je maar dat ik ook maar een mens ben.
I just want to make it clear that this is not an attack on Catawiki, colnect or any administrators, they do an excellent job. With or without the help of collectors.
As for the weight on the site, it is indeed in the manual. I hadn't thought about that for a moment. So you see that I am only human.
