Erik Heuvel has drawn a number of strips for Rijkswaterstaat which, to my knowledge, are only published on the RWS intranet. I have some prints of that. How to deal with this kind of 'publications'?

Ultimately, I think "clipping" is the only option. We only include clippings that are not in magazines or newspapers already in Catawiki.
But whether we should really start to include prints?

Other, advertising or internet publications?

Digital or paper comic, it is and will remain a comic. Garfield is both digital and in the newspaper.

I once suggested on the Books forum to include digital files (the example was MP3 audiobook files) in the catalog, and only met with incomprehension .
This becomes much easier once this catalog has been adapted in such a way that the stories contained in (comic) books (or the tracks on a CD or DVD) can be accessed independently of the carrier. If you can add a specific story (or a track) to your collection, you no longer have to distinguish between a physical expression (the book, magazine or clipping in which the comic or text is printed, or the gramophone record or CD on which the audio track) and a digital file (jpeg, pdf, mp3, avi, etc).
Erik Heuvel is not alone. Mark Retera has drawn hilarious commercials for PayPal, which are not printed anywhere as far as I know. And what do you think of YouTube videos, for example. What is on my hard drive is as much a part of my collection as the contents of my bookcase. And I don't even bother to make prints anymore.

I also have some hesitations about whether we should really start, hence this topic on the forum. Maybe I should just cherish it and these strips will one day become available to a larger audience in a sort of overview edition of the work of Erik Heuvel.
