Beer labels/Collaboration brews4 messages

Nu er steeds meer tijdelijke samenwerkingsverbanden komen tussen brouwers wordt het tijd om die etiketten in een eigen groep op te nemen.

Voortaan worden deze zogenoemde “Collaboration brews” in de rubriek “Merk” opgenomen als Collaboration Brew.

Hierdoor kan eenvoudig gesorteerd worden op merknaam en staan alle Collaboration brews bij elkaar.

Daarnaast worden deze zogenoemde “Collaboration brews” in de rubriek “Brouwerij” vooraf gegaan door een sterretje gevolgd door de merknamen van de meewerkende brouwers. De toevoeging bierbrouwerij of brouwerij komt te vervallen, dit in verband met de tekstruimte.

Zo krijg je dus bijvoorbeeld: * Jopen, SNAB bij de etiketten van Mashing Pumpkins (cw 6257111 en cw 6317725) en * Alfa, Budels, Gulpener, Lindeboom bij het etiket Smaak van Echt (cw 2373967).

Door deze registratie wordt er gesorteerd op * en vervolgens op alfabet. Zo vallen deze collaboration brews veel beter op in de rubriek “Brouwerij”.

De komende tijd zullen er vanuit de catalogusinhoud steeds meer etiketten aan deze groep worden toegevoegd, al naargelang ik ze tegenkom tijdens het bijwerken van de catalogus.

Is het niet zinvoller om van "Brouwerij" een meervoudig veld te laten maken?

(In veel andere rubrieken word je ook niet beperkt tot één bedrijf, uitgeverij of label per item.)

Als dat ook gebeurt voor het veld Type kun je daar de typering “Collaboration Brew” toevoegen, in plaats van het veld Merk ervoor te misbruiken.

Wouldn't it make more sense to make "Brewery" a multiple field?

If that also happens for the Type field, you can add the typing “Collaboration Brew” there, instead of misusing the Brand field for it.

@Collectioneur: Via de brouwerijnaam Jopen (zonder toevoegingen) kunt u er wel komen. Er is momenteel helaas te weinig ruimte om van alle deelnemende brouwers ook de plaatsnaam op te nemen. Vandaar alleen de brouwerijnaam zelf.

Hier wordt echter over nagedacht dus het is nog voor verbetering vatbaar indien de mogelijkheden kunnen worden aangepast in het computerprogramma.

@Stripspeldjes: Helaas is de verzamelrubriek bieretiketten niet voorzien van de mogelijkheid om meervoudige velden aan te maken. Ik heb begrepen dat dit bij diverese andere rubrieken wel kan. Er wordt nu onderzocht of onze rubriek programmatechnisch ook kan worden uitgebreid met deze optie.

Ook uitbreiding van het type-veld is iets om over na te denken. Een en ander is echter afhankelijk van de programma-mogelijkheden en de gevolgen voor het exporteren van de exceldata.

Momenteel is gekozen voor het invullen van Collaboration brew in de rubriek "Merk" omdat hierin veelal de titel van het etiket wordt herhaald of de naam van de brouwer (zonder woonplaats) wordt herhaald. Er gaat dus geen info verloren.

Nu kan er op merknaam worden gezocht naar collaboration brews terwijl er op titel kan worden gezocht naar het specifieke etiket.

Maar zoals hiervoor al aangegeven zijn we momenteel op zoek naar een mooie oplossing om ook deze bijzondere groep etiketten onder te brengen in een eigen en herkenbaar plekje.

Currently, it has been decided to fill in Collaboration brew in the "Brand" section because it often repeats the title of the label or the name of the brewer (without place of residence). So no information is lost.

Now you can search for collaboration brews by brand name, while you can search for the specific label by title.

But as indicated above, we are currently looking for a nice solution to also accommodate this special group of labels in its own and recognizable place.
