Now that more and more temporary partnerships are emerging between brewers, it is time to include those labels in their own group.

From now on, these so-called “Collaboration brews” will be included in the “Brand” section as Collaboration Brew .

This makes it easy to sort by brand name and all Collaboration brews are grouped together.

In addition, these so-called “Collaboration brews” are preceded by an asterisk in the “Brewery” section, followed by the brand names of the participating brewers. The addition beer brewery or brewery has been dropped, in connection with the text space.

So you get for example: * Jopen, SNAB with the labels of Mashing Pumpkins (cw 6257111 and cw 6317725 ) and * Alfa, Budels, Gulpener, Lindeboom with the label Smaak van Echt (cw 2373967 ).

This registration sorts by * and then alphabetically. For example, these collaboration brews stand out much better in the "Brewery" section.

More and more labels will be added to this group from the catalog content over time, as I come across them while updating the catalog.

Have fun collecting,

Ewald63.

@ Ewald63
In addition, these so-called “Collaboration brews” are preceded in the “Brewery” section by an asterisk followed by the brand names of the cooperating brewers. The addition of brewery or brewery will be deleted because of the text space.

There is now no link to the individual breweries.
From for example the brewery "Jopen, Haarlem" I do not come to Mashing Pumpkins and / or Collaboration brew.
Or am I overlooking something?

Wouldn't it make more sense to make "Brewery" a multiple field?

(Many other categories don't limit you to one company, publisher, or label per item, either.)

If that also happens for the Type field, you can add the typing “Collaboration Brew” there, instead of misusing the Brand field for it.

@Collectioneur: You can get there via the brewery name Jopen (without additions). Unfortunately, there is currently not enough space to include the place name of all participating brewers. Hence only the brewery name itself.

However, this is being considered so it can still be improved if the possibilities can be adjusted in the computer program.

@Stripspeldjes: Unfortunately, the collection section beer labels is not equipped with the option to create multiple fields. I understand that this is possible in various other sections. We are now investigating whether our program section can also be expanded with this option from a technical point of view.

Expanding the type field is also something to think about. However, this depends on the program options and the consequences for exporting the Excel data.

Currently, it has been decided to fill in Collaboration brew in the "Brand" section because it often repeats the title of the label or the name of the brewer (without place of residence). So no information is lost.

Now you can search for collaboration brews by brand name, while you can search for the specific label by title.

But as indicated above, we are currently looking for a nice solution to also accommodate this special group of labels in its own and recognizable place.

Anyway, thank you both very much for the feedback.
