I have noticed that the numbers that are given to the dinky toys change, by that I mean that some numbers with the addition of the letter the letter are registered in small and then displayed in large.
because they belong as lowercase.
is this bug in the system or is something else going on?

That is indeed correct.
This is not done automatically,
but by the administrators, including myself, in order to display everything the same and more clearly.
This also happens with the other brands including Ixo, Spark, Bizarre, Brumm, Altaya, Matchbox. So basically everywhere.
If it really is a problem, it can always be changed.

My idea of this site is that it will be as complete a reference work as possible so I would say as real as possible so I would keep the numbering as with the dinky toys the books are.
for the other I can't say anything about it, I'm not aware of it.
I'm also curious how other dinky collectors think about it

What about the numbering itself, I mean putting the zero before a digit to show sorting properly.

eg by Matchbox King Size ...:

click on brand Matchbox Lesney,

select type: King Size,

sort by number and see that K-161 is before K-27.

And how far do you have to go in this? Suppose you have a list of more than a thousand numbers, should it be number one 0001?

there is already a message from René about the alphanumeric numbering.

I solved t by putting a space before 27.

old: K-27

new: K- 27

with that the Catawiki number system sees the '27' as a '027' and so it comes before 100.

If you now sort by number, everything will be neatly in the right order.
