Die hele rubriek moet eigenlijk compleet op de schop en van de grond af opnieuw gevuld. Ze staat, in flagrante tegenstelling tot de officiele Catawiki filosofie, vol met dingen die er in zijn gezet op grond van hoe ze er uit zien en niet op grond van wat ze zijn. Mickey Mouse telefoons die bij telefoons horen, Mickey Mouse horloges die bij horloges horen, Mickey Mouse servies dat bij keramiek hoort, Mickey Mouse autotje's die bij modelauto's horen etcetera, etcetera etcetera. Een gigantische puinhoop.

That entire section should actually be completely overhauled and refilled from scratch. It is, in blatant contrast to the official Catawiki philosophy, full of things that have been put into it because of how they look and not because of what they are. Mickey Mouse telephones that belong to telephones, Mickey Mouse watches that belong to watches, Mickey Mouse dishes that belong to ceramics, Mickey Mouse cars that belong to model cars, etcetera, etc. A gigantic mess.
Helemaal met je eens. Deze rubriek is momenteel een figuratieve vergaarbak. Ik ben regelmatig bezig met het overzetten vanuit beeldjes/figuurtjes naar andere rubrieken. Het is echter geen uniek probleem voor deze rubriek. Veel invoerders gaan voor een bepaald aspect niet voor het totale plaatje. Spaarpotten bijvoorbeeld kom je tegen in 8 verschillende rubrieken. Bij beeldjes omdat het een figuur voorstelt. Bij auto’s, omdat het een op een auto lijkt. Bij keramiek omdat het van aardewerk is, enz. Er staat er zelfs een bij fotocamera’s omdat het een reclamespaarpot van Kodak is.
Je hebt echter bij deze rubriek een invoerveld ‘soort voorwerp’. Met keuzemenu waardoor het de suggestie opwekt dat het invoeren van deze voorwerpen toegestaan is. En bij 'soort' staat ook de nodige vervuiling.
We zullen dan al die objecten onder hun eigen noemer moeten gaan onderbrengen (de meeste voorlopig bij overig). Beetje bij beetje, stapje voor stapje. Maar het is wel een zaak van lange adem.
Fully agree with you. This section is currently a figurative receptacle. I am regularly busy transferring from figurines / figures to other sections. However, it is not a unique problem for this section. Many importers do not go for the total picture for a certain aspect. Money boxes, for example, can be found in 8 different categories. With figurines because it represents a figure. With cars, because it looks like a car. With ceramics because it's pottery, etc. There's even one with cameras because it's a Kodak advertising piggy bank.
However, you have an input field 'type of object' in this section. With drop-down menu which suggests that entering these objects is allowed. And ' kind ' also indicates the necessary pollution.
We will then have to classify all those objects under their own denominator (most of them under other for the time being). Little by little, step by step. But it is a matter of long breath.
