Then I (W10 + Firefox) will also be one of the lucky ones, having not had any hiccups or disruptions with Catawiki for several days, with long sessions of adjustments and reviews.

No more problems these last evenings. The problem appears to have been resolved.

Only busy since yesterday but the catalog site reacts lightning fast, faster than before (even if there was no failure) I have the idea. Very nice! The only thing that takes a few seconds is to open (change) a catalog item, but I can imagine something about that.

Am curious what has been adjusted / improved ..? :)

The catalog: searching, clicking shortcuts, entering and changing, adding photos and scans, also in the shop and collection is indeed going very well again. Thanks to the techies in the background. I am using windows 10 and google chrome.

Well, still strange things for me, I can't find imported album pictures, every time I return a white page after a few clicks, it comes back again, so not all things have been solved I think, don't cheer too soon..

After changing a few items or having imported Catawiki temporarily overloaded, 1st x the normal message 2nd x a screen over the entry fields. Thought went well today and suddenly ....

If you haven't cleared your cache after Thursday, I would at least try that again. We now see no performance disruptions whatsoever in the monitors after the interventions on Tuesday and Thursday.

@Arco think it's because of Windows 10, have so many problems with that. Watching movies and playing a game also barely works.

I only switched last year because there was no other way to switch from Windows 7 to 10. 10 is unstable and (forgive my stupid layman's impression) looks a lot like some kind of app environment a la a mobile phone. Quite different from windows 7. Because I work via a good fixed PC and often clean, I use cc cleaner and occasionally change browsers (Firefox versus Google Chrome) I keep everything a bit in the air. Because Catawiki as a catalog is a much more complex thing as a simple straightforward sales site like marketplace, etc., I think that the Catawiki systems also suffer from it.

@Harry they are or indeed they call them apps. Have switched since Christmas because older Windows will no longer be updated from Jan. 2020. Find yourself the worst Windows ever, if you still want to keep Windows 7 or 8 you have to pay for updates, pure cash from Microsoft and Bill Gates. The number of times per day it blows out, do I have to restart my PC or turn the PC off and then on again or sometimes my PC turns off by itself. And also on Marktplaats and other sites problems and it doesn't matter whether I use Explorer, Firefox or Chrome, problems remain. Think I'll only buy an Apple PC in a few months, they might be better.

After changes, the system returns to white page, after div. clicking the system jumps back again, seems like something is stuck in the system? one of the many nasty things still again ..

Windows 10 is quite stable. I have been running it on 2 PCs from the start without any problems. Indeed, MS wants you to start using apps and log in with an MS account, but you don't have to if you don't want to. I also play games without any problems. You do need a separate video card for the more advanced games. And more internal memory is also an advantage. I watch movies with a VLC player. Never with Windows media player because that is indeed a disaster; picture no sound or vice versa. Never have any problems with VLC (free).

I think the version of Windows does not affect the operation of CataWiki. At most the browser, but I don't really believe that either. I'm afraid the problems are in CW's own system. But we are working on that, so that will be fine in the end :-)

If you can watch for half an hour, VLC player will work :-) It looks like you have a hardware problem. Could the video card, processor or perhaps the motherboard not be cooled well enough. Sometimes the cause is a lot of dust inside the device. No idea how old your PC is.

Windows 10 is indeed the latest Windows version, but it is updated every six months. I believe 1909 is the last. (19 = 2019 and 09 = September). With the winver command you can see which version you currently have.

You can always buy Apple, especially if you have too much money ;-)

Also regularly with me. But in 9 out of 10 cases, clearing the browser history seems like the solution. Give it a try!

I had already emptied the cache. It really was a dip just before 19:00.
