You can indeed only pay via iDeal, credit card, DIRECTebanking, MisterCash or UnionPay. (As an aside: curious that PayPal is not included.) Who pays the amount does not matter.

ABN Amro is connected to iDeal, just like all other larger banks in the Netherlands.

iDeal can be used if you have a checking account (and you have one ) and a contract (free) for internet banking with accompanying (free) e-identifier. I would drop by or call your bank branch, is arranged in the blink of an eye.

And both iDeal and internet banking is quite simple, shows the way automatically and cheaper.

You see, we'll get there without shouting. As I said first, if you have an account you can pay via the internet. What Frikas didn't say was that he didn't know what those on-screen payment choices meant. IDeal is affiliated with almost every major bank, so if you choose it you will then get a screen on which you can indicate your bank and then it is done in no time ... say that you do not have an internet bank.

This does not detract from the fact that, as Gray also said, you must first collect an e-identifier from your bank. The fact that you are still using bank transfers indicates that you don't have one. Visit your bank to be informed about paying via the internet, so via your own bank. That is so much easier than doing a giro or bank transfer. A world opens up for you when you see what you can do.

And that works well! My first copy was also sent personally by a CataWiki employee to my home address and arrived (very late after being notified that it was posted, but it is here!).
