Bij soort mis ik keywords als farmacie en geneesmiddelen. Zouden deze toegevoegd kunnen worden ?
In the category I miss keywords such as pharmacy and medicines. Could these be added?
Gezondheid is ook wat ik gebruik, maar dat is zo'n breed begrip dat het waarschijnlijk niet vaak gebruikt wordt als zoekterm. Daar bijv. natuurkunde, scheikunde, biologie, astronomie, geografie, geologie, enz als wetenschapsgebieden als "soort" genoemd worden lijkt het mij zinvol om dan ook geneeskunde en farmacie aan de lijst toe te voegen
Health is also what I use, but that is such a broad term that it is probably not often used as a search term. Since, for example, physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, geography, geology, etc. are listed as scientific fields as "kinds", it seems useful to me to add medicine and pharmacy to the list
RSW58Vermoedelijk zijn de titel van een boek en het ISBN de meest gebruikte zoektermen, dus jouw argument begrijp ik niet helemaal. Hoe meer soorten worden toegevoegd, hoe onoverzichtelijker het wordt. 'Farmacie' lijkt me ook een niche. Eventueel kunnen we 'Geneeskunde' toevoegen, maar dan moeten we even kijken of we 'Gezondheid' willen handhaven.

Soort is niet bedoeld als zoekterm, maar om boeken met min of meer hetzelfde onderwerp bij elkaar te brengen. Dat je boeken over geneeskunde kunt vinden bij de soort Gezondheid lijkt evident.
RSW58Presumably the title of a book and the ISBN are the most commonly used search terms, so I don't fully understand your argument. The more species are added, the more confusing it becomes. 'Pharmacy' also seems like a niche to me. We can possibly add 'Medicine', but then we have to check whether we want to maintain 'Health'.

Kind is not intended as a search term, but to bring together books with more or less the same subject. It seems obvious that you can find books about medicine under the Health category.
Beste Vertigo, ben dat helaas niet met je eens. Vaak ben ik (en ik hoop velen met mij) geïnteresseerd in een bepaald onderwerp dan weet ik geen titel, geen auteur, geen ISBN, ik wil dan gewoon weten wat LD te bieden heeft over dat onderwerp. Dat zoek ik dus op soort. Als ik op gezondheid zoek krijg ik duizenden boeken die voor mij niet interessant zijn; zie wel veel boeken die ik ook als Farmacie en Geneeskunde zou categoriseren, en mijn zoekprofiel dus kunnen beperken. Dus mijn verzoek blijft om gezondheid te blijven handhaven en de mogelijkheid te hebben om Geneeskunde en Farmacie als extra soort aan te vinken
Dear Vertigo, unfortunately I do not agree with you. Often I (and I hope many with me) are interested in a certain subject, I know no title, no author, no ISBN, I just want to know what LD has to offer on that subject. So I search by type. When I search for health I get thousands of books that are not interesting to me; I see many books that I would also categorize as Pharmacy and Medicine, and could therefore limit my search profile. So my request remains to continue to maintain health and have the option to check Medicine and Pharmacy as an additional type
