The royal sovereign from the United Kingdom is imported with a nominal value of 1 sovereign, shouldn't that be a pound?

I don't think so, the value of the coin depends on the gold price.

There is also no denomination on this coin.

It says on the Royal Mint website

2011 UK Sovereign £5 Brilliant Uncirculated Gold Coin.

But even there that value is not on the coin itself.

It seems to me that it is better than the value to also place the weight of that coin with the gold coins

Coins minted up to the period 1816-1925 had the face value of one pound. The new coins that have been produced since 1957 have more the role of bullion coins. So there is a difference between the old and new and the older version which is minted from 1489 - 1604.

And the face value is slightly different from the metal value and collector's value

But sovereigns have also been beaten outside the UK !

As an example, this one from 1932.

The term 1816 - 1925 can be extended to 1932, since then only special editions have been produced. Then it does not matter in which country they were produced.

I found such a coin at home from 1931, what does it fall under?
