I am a mother and grandmother.

Discovered this site last week and had been working on how to catalog my collections for a while.

So I read a lot, via library, but try to complete Olaf de Landell myself,

So see that there are more books than I thought, but I still have a stack that is not yet on the site. It's nice to see if I can first photograph the front and back and then put it on the site.

I was able to take over my collection of book week gifts. But turned out to already have several doubles.

Then I have jigsaw puzzles. No landscapes and not above 1000 pieces. I started with round but now separate jigsaw puzzles.

Also coins, stamps, kindersuprise and lps.

Don't go on vacation this year, so have time to take a look at what I'm entering.

ben nog niet lang aan het rondneuzen op deze prachtige site, ik verzamel onder andere strips, hoewel ik me daar de laatste jaren iets minder kan mee bezighouden omdat ik aan het verbouwen ben en de plaats er niet echt meer voor is :)

Na strips hou ik me vooral bezig met het verzamelen van cd's maar enkel in het genre punkrock. Ben vandaag begonnen met het toevoegen van groepen met de letter 'B' en 'A' waren er al meer dan 100, dus ik ga nog wel weten wat doen als ik effe vrije tijd heb.

After comics, I mainly collect CDs, but only in the punk rock genre. Today I started adding groups with the letter 'B' and 'A' there were already more than 100, so I'll know what to do when I have some free time.

I am Kenneth and actually just in time ended up in this community of bumpers and collectors by accident, before I put my collections on e-bay, kapaza, Wanted to place 2nd hand or gadget ...

Due to lack of time and other priorities in life, I do some of my collection, cigar bands, aerospace stamps and space postcards , vinyl records by hand. I think it will be more satisfying if these go to real collectors, instead of to fortune hunters who visit all those other shop sites ...

Since I have complete series of certain things , it goes without saying that in consultation with the collectors I will use the prices of complete sets and will sell them in their entirety ... Series will not be split to complete other collections ...

Hopefully I can make some people happy who have been looking for certain pieces for some time ....

 ik ben Daniël, zo'n 2 jaar al member van Catawiki, de beste site ooit.

Verzamel in principe van alles, ligt aan het thema, waar het over gaat of wat erop staat, je zou dus kunnen zeggen dat ik meer een thema verzamelaar ben. Verzamel ook items van Disney, maar ook weer niet alles, moet het echt leuk vinden en dat is met al mijn verzamelingen wel, behalve katten en katachtigen daarvan verzamel ik praktisch alles. Ben gek op dieren en in speciaal dus katten en katachtigen. En daarvan staan ook de meeste items van in me verzameling. Heb zelf sinds 2 jaar ook weer een kat, zwart/wit, heet Sylvester, naar de kat van Tweety en Sylvester. Strips verzamel ik alles van Knudde/ Gijpvogel/Vergelders/Verdedigers/Kapitein Rob en alle strips die ik leuk vind. Had er veel meer, maar wegens zwaar geld gebrek aantal jaar gelden, heb ik alles moeten verkopen, probeer nu langzaam aan weer alles terug te krijgen. Sinds kort verzamel ik ook alles van Ollie B. Bommel en Tom Poes en Dommel. Andere grote verzameling films en aanverwanten, voornamelijk 1880 tot 1990. En nog meer, maar daarvoor moet je maar me verzameling bekijken, anders zit ik morgenochtend nog te typen lol.

I'm Daniel, a member of Catawiki for about 2 years, the best site ever.

It's not that strange, you know, that you don't see anything in a collection. As a user you can indicate in your profile that you want to keep your collection 'private'. That means that others will not see it ....

His collection is not private, but it is also under no obligation to keep your collection here at all. (Just as it is not prohibited to offer the pins that you enter here in the catalog on Marktplaats.nl for sale ;-))

Personally (as a collector and manager) I am happy with the thousands of pins that hdinkel has added to the catalog and the low prices of its offer. You can already see that it is not just about sales for him.

I think that Hdinkel has more collections and also carries very much in it. He just has to learn a bit to enter everything correctly, because he may not have enough patience for that. To enter that much you need a lot of time and apparently he has. Now just the patience, because nowadays we go for quality and not quantity!

This also applies to CataWiki anyway that you spend more and more time on it, because you quickly forget the time. Hi, I am a real comic lover and therefore also a collector. Every few years, the comics virus gets to me again and I read my entire collection again or am busy expanding. Echt verzamelen doe ik niet echt omdat ik me dat niet kan veroorloven, ik ben nog studerende, maar ik heb best wel wat platen, cd's, boeken en tijdschriften die ik de komende tijd hier onder zal brengen.

welcome to the club of CataWiki users and of course I wish you a lot of fun with this handy site! You will notice that the more you enter your records, CDs and magazines into your collection and / or CataWiki, the more fun it all becomes. Before you know it, you will spend a lot of time on this site!

And to tell you right away: You are also a collector! The definition of a collection (and I'm still a bit strict) is that you must have more than 1 item of a certain category. In short, if you have 2 CDs, 2 magazines or 2 records, then you already have a collection. In that definition it is also called a collection by CataWiki.

You will also notice that the more you enter, the more you see that items are missing from your collection. You will then go and look for those missing items unnoticed and you may come across other nice items. In this way a collection grows unnoticed.

In my collection of Amsterdam books I started looking for books from my street (almost impossible, who writes about the Nicolaas Witsenkade now?). At first I couldn't find any of it and I expanded my search to my environment. I could find books about that and that's how I came across books about Het Paleis voor Volksvlijt. I found that so interesting that I also wanted to collect everything about it and so I had another area of interest! Also be careful with series, because before you know it you want to complete them.

Nu ben ik op een tijdstip gekomen dat mijn 2 jonge meiden meer ruimte nodig hebben en ben ik helaas gedwongen mijn kast leeg te maken.

Ik ga er wel voor zorgen dat ik alles wat ik ooit gekocht heb (meestal bij uitkomst) weer digitaal in mijn bezit blijft. Kon vroeger elke week naar de sigarenboer :) en die noemde me ook Sjors van de rebellen club

Elke week een stripblad en als er een strip nieuw was nam ik die ook mee

You will recognize that CataWiki is a very useful means of selling your collection. Do not forget to describe your items well, so that future buyers know what they are buying. The site only contains information about an item that applies to each item and not only specific to your item. So, for example, a comic of yours in very good condition can be very wrinkled and you put that with your item in the shop. Of course, that does not apply to all comics out there.

Be aware that CataWiki is not an online library, but a catalog! So the story is not there, only the description of the item. If you only care about the covers, then this is a great place to store.

I will certainly first neatly catalog my collection here.
