Would it be allowed to place it in the 'Series / Hero' field at #5781395 AMVJ?
Similar to the items where the Series/Hero is listed as 'Netherlands Football Team'.
I was only able to access the item using the ISBN number (found on the site https://www.amvj.nl/historie.html).

It can then (possibly) be referred to in (other) sections.
The book is about the story of AMVJ, but you can't see that anywhere in the detail. Also whoever searches for AMVJ doesn't find this item among the results.

I don't know if that was ever the intention, but the field Series/Here is already a hodgepodge containing many terms that should actually fall under Theme .

The real hero in question is of course Eijkman, Johan (1892-1945) ...

Ajax also has heroes on the field, so why not AMVJ?

Organisations such as the Workers' Youth Centre (AJC) , Farmers' Youth Union (BJB) and Catholic Rural Youth (KLJ) are also already listed.

The explanation of the input field is limited to the traditional concept of "Series". Without a conclusive definition in a specific Manual for this section, everyone is actually free to come up with something themselves.

Sometimes this field is useful as a tool to group items that cannot be linked in any other way (e.g. by Series or Publisher). It is debatable how useful it is for "series" or "heroes" with only 1 item.

Personally, I would welcome the addition of a Theme field.

The hero (person) is also good. What I read about him ... that man should be declared a saint. Not mincing words, prompt targeted actions and determinedly consistent. Whatever the consequences.
The connection has been made.

My main concern is to be able to give a newly added seal the necessary attention. I can't find any background information about it (except the responsible organization AMVJ). With the necessary attention, additional information may fall from the sky. You have to keep believing in it, every day again.
#10753215 ...it says 'Crisis stamp'. But I have no idea what 'crisis' it could be about.
Savings stamp? Fundraising for a specific crisis? Discount stamp for specific groups (the underprivileged)?
There is supposed to be a link with certain stamps from the Dutch East Indies ('Crisiswerk AMVJ', also from 1933). But I am not really sure. Coincidence is always lurking around the corner.

The closing stamp almost certainly refers to the Indian stamps of the 1933 AMVJ issue (issue date December 1, 1933), which you had already linked yourself.
I haven't had an NVPH catalogue for a long time, but doesn't it mention the validity period of the stamps?

As an association, AMVJ did not take a position on political issues, but management and members discussed all the heavy current themes. In 1928, the AMVJ Peace Group was formed and in the 'obsessed world' of the thirties, many AMVJ members took a clear position in practical terms. They were involved in organised crisis work in the former Dutch East Indies, with the establishment of AMVJ houses for dismissed Dutch people.

So there is a direct link to welfare work in the then Dutch overseas territory. But I still have a number of questions ...

Were they issued in the Netherlands or in the Dutch East Indies?

I have placed them with the Sealing Stamps under the Netherlands, but that could be wrong.
Was it an action in the Netherlands to collect funds for the overseas action through such charity closing stamps?
Were they stamps that the target group (young people, unemployed, in the overseas area) could save up in the overseas area to obtain certain products via a 'savings card'? Then it is not for the closing stamps category but for the Other category (Savings point - Savings stamp - Help stamp - ...).
Or were they some kind of food stamps (or house rent stamps). Then it should also go to the Other section (Food stamp - Rent stamp - ...).

It is an encouragement to use the stamps on letters, so it seems obvious to me that these closing stamps were (only) distributed in the Dutch East Indies.

stripspeldjes
I was able to buy the book on the internet. When it arrives I can fill a winter evening with it. Who knows, the answer might be in there :)
A missed opportunity for those who had it lying around and didn't put it in the shop. It wasn't available on LD.
