Overigens werd Sturges in 2021 veroordeeld voor "statutory rape" (seks met een minderjarige – dat is beslist iets anders dan pedofilie) zo'n 45 jaar eerder. Hij pleitte schuldig en kreeg 3 jaar voorwaardelijk. Laten we in elk geval de feiten goed benoemen.

Ik wil de invoerder niet zwartmaken, maar ik zie dat deze Deense gebruiker zich wel bewust is van de gevoeligheden van dit soort materiaal. Zijn laatste invoer #9662489 heeft hij overduidelijk zelf gecensureeerd. 
Dat is voor mij persoonlijk dan eigenlijk weer níet acceptabel, een afbeelding moet het object tonen zoals het is. 
Ik weet niet wat de juridische status van zo'n item is, maar ik zou zelf nooit iets in de catalogus invoeren wat ik niet moreel kan verdedigen.

That is actually not acceptable for me personally, an image must show the object as it is.
I don't know what the legal status of such an item is, but I would never put anything in the catalog that I can't morally defend.

Het niet willen censureren van afbeeldingen was in het verleden een reden om pornografisch materiaal niet op te nemen in de catalogus (ging overigens niet om de moraal maar om de wens bepaalde zoekmachines niet voor het hoofd te stoten) Dat was werkbaar totdat de veilingen op gang kwamen en de geslachtsdelen je daar alsnog om de oren vlogen. Wat mij betreft zijn gecensureerde afbeeldingen reden voor afkeur. Voor de rest geldt het adagium, als je het in Nederland als particulier van de wetgever in bezit mag hebben kan het worden opgenomen.

Dat vind ik best moeilijk om te bepalen. Echter, het door Lord Ernie aangehaalde voorbeeld lijkt geen porno te zijn. Zoals Boekenmagazijn al terecht opmerkte: wat is er pornografisch aan?

Bij Tijdschriften/kranten is er wellicht wel een probleem. Een tijdschrift dat Lolita heet, lijkt 'over het randje' te gaan.

Ik vermoed dat de uitgever van dat tijdschrift niet gek is (tijdschrift zag er niet uit als een illegaal onder de toonbank blaadje) en dat onderzoek zou uitwijzen dat alle modellen meerderjarig zijn, al wordt er natuurlijk richting doelgroep iets anders gesuggereerd.  Tenslotte zou zelfs kunnen meespelen dat iets in het land van de invoerder wel mag, maar in Nederland niet. De minimale leeftijd voor sex is (dacht ik) in Denemarken 15 jaar tegenover 16 jaar in Nederland.

Maar ik zie ook dat het betreffende item inmiddels in de bitbucket verdwenen is, wat ik persoonlijk niet als een verlies voor de calalogus beschouw :)

I suspect that the publisher of that magazine is not crazy (magazine did not look like an illegal under-the-counter magazine) and that research would show that all models are of age, although of course something else is suggested to the target group. Finally, it could even be that something is allowed in the country of the importer, but not in the Netherlands. The minimum age for sex is (I thought) 15 years in Denmark compared to 16 years in the Netherlands.

But I also see that the item in question has disappeared in the bitbucket, which I personally don't consider a loss for the calalogus :)

nou troost je, ik ken um helemaal niet, maar ja ik ben dan ook een cultuurbarbaar op dichtgebied...
Ik heb op de HBS zelfs altijd geweigerd om iets met werkstukken oid te maken als er een gedicht aan te pas kwam, bekijk ut maar. Ik moest zelfs op een andere school een werkstuk maken over Gregoriaanse gezangen, nou ik heb alleen een mooi stukje geschreven waarom ik ut NIET deed...

At the HBS I even always refused to make something with papers or the like if a poem was involved, take a look. I even had to do a paper on Gregorian chants at another school, well I just wrote a nice piece why I DID NOT do it...

These types of books do not belong on Catawiki? my luck at Marktplaats was sold for much more there no problem so sometimes remains a gray area

Het is beter jezelf te onthouden van discussies als deze, niettemin … naast legislatie die enorm verschilt in tijd en regio staat de moraal. Wat is kies wat is onkies.
