#5921767 heb ik gewijzigd. Zie bijzonderheden, de namen Ankie Aalbers en Johanna Aalders kunnen mijns inziens worden toegevoegd aan het alias bestand.

Bedankt ! Blijkbaar kan een gebruiker dan niet alle aliassen zien, maar jij als beheerder wel ? Het zijn er nog steeds 14 , Ankie Aalbers zag ik niet , wel Ankie Aalders, Johanna Aalders zie ik als toevoeging nog niet. Bij de KB zijn by the way leuke artikeltjes te vinden over de "goede man" . Ik vind het altijd leuk als ik weer een jeugdboek tegenkom als bewerking door HP. Net 1 ingevoerd #9485355 ( een variant op een Karl May die er al in stond)  Ik vermoed dat het een sport was voor heer van den Aardweg was om grappige naampjes te verzinnen. Of wellicht toen al om de belastingdienst niet al te veel te informeren over de diverse neveninkomsten...

Thank you ! Apparently a user can't see all aliases, but you as an administrator can? There are still 14, I did not see Ankie Aalbers, but Ankie Aalders, I do not see Johanna Aalders as an addition yet. By the way, the KB has nice articles about the "good man". I always like it when I come across another children's book as an adaptation by HP. Just entered 1 #9485355 (a variant of a Karl May that was already in it) I suspect it was a sport for Mr van den Aardweg to come up with funny names. Or perhaps even then so as not to inform the tax authorities too much about the various additional income...

Indien je op de pagina van de auteur bent, zie je in de header ook de eventuele aliassen staan. Als je op het getal daar achter klikt (hier +13), krijg je alle namen te zien. Klopt het trouwens dat hij in de andere talen niet dezelfde aliassen heeft?

Het lijkt erop dat het maximum aantal in te voeren pseudoniemen rond de 15 ligt (zie Herman Nicolaas van der Voort ). Van der Voort heeft er minstens 28, die ik in een lijstje op de achtergrondpagina heb gezet.

Je kunt wel meer dan 15 aliassen invullen, maar door ruimtegebrek in de grijze balk zijn ze niet allemaal zichtbaar.
Waarschijnlijk heeft Jilles per ongeluk de aliassen toegevoegd bij de Engelse aliassen. Ik heb ze nu bij de andere aliassen geplaatst.
Een achtergrondpagina met de desbetreffende info is een zeer goede zaak.

Probably Jilles accidentally added the aliases to the English aliases. I have now placed them with the other aliases.
A background page with the relevant information is a very good thing.

Vermoedelijk is niet het aantal namen een limiet, maar het aantal karaktertekens aan een maximum onderhevig in dat veld. Moet ik navragen.

Voorlopig heb ik even de toegezonden lijst aangevuld en in een korte pagina gezet. Ik ga weer voetbal kijken anders kan ik niet goed meepraten in het LastDodo cafe. Ik hoop dat "onze jongens" ook meekijken, kunnen ze wat van opsteken.

(Sometimes you have to be creative) If you enter the pseudonym as a search term, you will find it.
I could also have put them in "name variations", but that storage is also limited.

Dat zag ik net te laat. Het probleem daarmee is dat die namen dan ook niet in de Nederlandse A/Z lijst zichtbaar is (de naamvariaties trouwens ook niet). Bij alle velden is de ruimte max 255 tekens. Bij dit soort extremen is het roeien met beperkte riempjes die we hebben.

I saw that just too late. The problem with that is that those names are not visible in the Dutch A/Z list (nor are the name variations, by the way). All fields have a maximum space of 255 characters. At these kinds of extremes, it is rowing with the limited belts we have.

Naar aanleiding van deze discussie heb ik me nog even bezig gehouden met  Herman Nicolaas van der Voort . Het pseudoniem Edgar Cooper bleek ten onrechte zijn ondergebracht bij  Gardner Francis Cooper Fox . En het pseudoniem Jack White had ten onechte een eigen entry gekregen. Inmiddels hersteld.

As a result of this discussion , I briefly engaged with Herman Nicolaas van der Voort . The pseudonym Edgar Cooper was found to have been incorrectly assigned to Gardner Francis Cooper Fox . And the pseudonym Jack White had been mistakenly given its own entry. Now repaired.

Herstel: boeken geschreven onder het pseudoniem Edgar Cooper bleken te zijn ondergebracht bij Cooper Fox. Het pseudoniem Edgar Cooper zelf stond terecht onder Herman van der Voort.

Recovery: Books written under the pseudonym of Edgar Cooper were found to be hosted by Cooper Fox. The pseudonym Edgar Cooper himself stood trial under Herman van der Voort.

Inderdaad, alleen jammer dat de illustratoren niet bekend zijn!
Hoewel, #4763791 en #2247961 doen mij denken aan Dick Bos. Het zou best kunnen: A.L. van Kersen en Alfred Mazure kwamen beiden uit Den Haag.

[Edit:] Hoewel, bij nader inzien denk ik dat A.L. van Kersen de omslagen liever 'leende' van andere (buitenlandse?) uitgaven. Op geen enkele omslag staat een signering.

Indeed, just a pity that the illustrators are not known!
Although, #4763791 and #2247961 remind me of Dick Bos. It could well be: AL van Kersen and Alfred Mazure both came from The Hague.

[Edit:] Although, on reflection I think AL van Kersen preferred to 'borrow' the covers from other (foreign?) publications. There is no signature on any cover.
