De stijl van deze afbeelding lijkt erg veel op de kleurenafbeeldingen in de boekjes De Schoolbijbel door Alphons Timmermans (10e en 11de druk, 1950 / 1951). In deze boekjes is de illustrator Piet Broos.

Het is wel zo dat illustraties voor met name katholieke jeugdboeken door diverse illustratoren in een zelfde stijl werden getekend. Wellicht voorgeschreven ? Het lijkt ook op illustraties voor Engelse posters, maar die dateren ook veel later ( jaren 50) Zie #4825163
Ik vrees dat het lastig zal zijn de illustrator te vinden.

It is true that illustrations for especially Catholic children's books were drawn in the same style by various illustrators. Perhaps prescribed? It also resembles illustrations for English posters, but they also date from much later (50s) See #4825163
I'm afraid it will be difficult to find the illustrator.
