Can anybody enlighten me as to the Del Prado figures catalog numbers - there seem to be many conflicting and confusing numbering systems.
For example the Medieval Warriors series has the MW prefix printed on the accompanying brochure but in may places they have the SME prefix and the serial numbers often do not correspond?
Thanks in advance!

Perhaps the moderators of this area can say something about this: metalfigures noppti

Del Prado, a Spanish publisher, had this series made by King and Country and issued them in blister packs, with an extract from an Osprey booklet (see illustration 3). For the series of Medieval Warriors, the original factory numbering on the blister pack was used and not the numbering for the different countries of issue, England , France, Germany.
This according to Chris (Joris2) former toy soldier manager and Del Prado collector.

Thanks for the answer. Is there a reliable comprehensive list of all Del Prado items.

The above catalog is nice but is not "perfect" as it misses some figures and has some mistakes as far as I can see in comparison to my collection
PS. what is illustration 3 ?

You're welcome, everyone has their own opinion about their own collection that's why the catalogue will never be perfect, as long as it's good then that's good enough for me, but if you have figures that are not in the catalogue yet then you can always add them.

Same question as to the Altaya catalogue. The numbers in the catalog here
https://www.lastdodo.com/en/areas/4890671-altaya
where taken from where? I am familiar with a completely different catalog numbering system for these figures? AGM and CEM prefixes?

Also with this series, there is a description

#8343667
XVth Century this knight does not really have a number in the series but came along as a gift when purchasing a suitcase from another knight in the series when subscribing to the De Agostini series

Yes but where are the original numbers from? There is no number on the plastic packaging or at the bottom?
For example here: https://www.lastdodo.com/en/items/8326637-black-prince
Where does the "Serial number 1" come from? Did noppti decided these serial numbers?

PS how do I enter a member or item links in messages? the url link does not do that?

Let's invite noppti to this discussion. He is a moderator, so he will surely have an answer.
