Just entered. #9200913

According to KB, Gerda Magnin is also a pseudonym of Heer van den Aardweg.
Can an administrator add it to the existing list, or can I do that as an importer myself?

Only administrators can add aliases (pseudonyms).

has been added. Just not visually visible. Mister van der Aardweg has so many pseudonyms that LAstDodo's writing space is too tight. You can find him with this pseudonym

Yes, I also spent some time trying to find out more with Herman. I understood that quite a few writers have been working with several pseudonyms. Especially with pulp series and children's books. Whether that has to do with the quality of the writing or copyright?

I think these writers had mainly commercial reasons for choosing multiple pseudonyms. For example, you always work for the same publisher, but now you want to publish a book with another publisher without your regular publisher knowing.
You may feel embarrassed about the writings with children's books, but pulp writers usually had no literary pretensions (exception Fyodor Klondyke?).

Herman van der Voort chose a different pseudonym for each (sub)genre. That was handy, the reader got what he expected. An action and crime novel by Multon and, for example, an erotic book by Maurice Granville. He made a lot of money with that. Much more than fellow writers engaged in literature.
