Iemand enig idee wie de tekenaar is van de strip Willem Dealer? Zojuist toegevoegd bij #1856609. Aloha 1 van jaargang 1972/1973. 

Anyone have any idea who the artist of the comic Willem Dealer is? Just added to #1856609. Aloha 1 from year 1972/1973.

Hoi Collectioneur. Bedankt voor je reaktie. Maar ik zie geen echte overeenkomsten met ander werk van Lohman. Nog iemand andere gedachten? 1972 is ook al wel weer een hele tijd geleden.

Wat me t eerst opviel was de gelijkenis van personage Willem met Mark Volman in die tijd. Paul Denooijer maakte een fotoreportage van the Mothers die in Aloha geplaatst werd. Mijn gok: hij maakte een uitstapje naar t stripmedium en besloot wijselijk t daarbij te laten.

What struck me first was the resemblance of Willem's character to Mark Volman at that time. Paul Denooijer made a photo report of the Mothers that was placed in Aloha. My guess: he took a trip to the comics medium and wisely decided to leave it at that.

Ik weet niet meer of ik de naam van de tekenaar heb kunnen achterhalen voor de index die ik ooit van alle strips en striptekeningen uit Hitweek/Aloha heb gemaakt (gepubliceerd in stripinformatieblad Inkt), maar grote kans dat de naam van de tekenaar wel genoemd wordt in dat Aloha-nummer bij het overzicht van medewerkers.

I don't remember if I was able to find out the name of the artist for the index I ever made of all comics and comic drawings from Hitweek/Aloha (published in the comic information magazine Ink), but there is a good chance that the name of the artist is mentioned in that Aloha number in the overview of employees.

Volgens mij is deze strippagina van Bernard Holtrop en tekent(de) hij onder het pseudoniem ‘Willem’. Deze strippagina zou dan als titel ‘Dealer’ moeten heten. Of dit juist is, dat is de vraag.

I think this comic is by Bernard Holtrop and he signs under the pseudonym 'Willem'. This comic page should then be titled 'Dealer'. Whether this is correct is the question.

Bedankt voor alle suggesties. BookPerfect: Maar bij Aloha wisten ze ook niet meer dan Paul??. Zo staat het bij de 'verdere' medewerkers in het colofon. Jilles: Paul Bodoni's eerste werk in LD is van 1983 en deze Aloha van 1972. Wel heel vroeg werk, maar het zou eventueel kunnen. Koenpadding: Willem heeft toch een andere stijl. Zie de door hem getekende achterpagina. GOIH101 : Van Paul Denooijer kan ik bij strips niets vinden. Mocht het een eenmalig uitstapje tekenwerk zijn, is het goed, dat het daar dan bij gebleven is. Boekenmagazijn: Dat zou wel handig zijn! Blijven zoeken. :-)

Thanks for all the suggestions. BookPerfect: But at Aloha they didn't know any more than Paul??. This is how it is stated in the colophon for the 'further' employees. Jilles: Paul Bodoni's first work in LD is from 1983 and this Aloha from 1972. Very early work, but it could be possible. Koenpadding: Willem has a different style. See the back page drawn by him. GOIH101 : I can't find anything about Paul Denooijer in comics. If it is a one-off trip to drawing, it is good that it has stopped there. Bookstore: That would be handy! Keep looking. :-)

De gedachte komt ineens bij me op dat de strip mogelijk is gemaakt door de 'Vijf Slijmerds', leerlingen van het Barlaeus Gymnasium. De namen die op Windig & De Jong - Lambiek stripgeschiedenis vermeld worden zijn Hans van Amstel, Eddie de Jong, Hans Niepoth, Hans Rot en René Windig.
