Maybe a little off-topic here, but I'm trying to contact a Catawiki coin expert or at all Catawiki via email.

I have a question about the following coins on offer:
Russland - various 10 and 50 Rubel 1992 and 1993 - Rotes Buch - Bimetall - 10 Münzen.
Silver - Not certified

I would like to know if they are made of silver, because the Russians themselves are talking about German silver and I think it's like German Steak - that's just minced meat . But I may be overlooking something.

That is what it says, but all you get is that the phone is not working at this time. Catawiki is absurdly difficult to reach. Not by email, not by telephone and if the contact form appears (usually not), you will not receive an answer. I sent three emails on multiple topics: zero point zero response. Too difficult, surely? Simply asking a question about an auction is therefore not possible.
It is understandable that you indicate that this does not belong here. But it seems just as understandable that when there is no response and Catawiki is inaccessible, people then ask LastDodo for information. It seems to me that it is in LastDodo's own interest that Catawiki is easily accessible and responds normally. If not, LastDodo will undoubtedly suffer a lot from this.
An auction site that presents itself as 'expert' and international should be ashamed to be so difficult to reach.

OK, apparently my reasoned and constructively critical comments are now regarded as personal frustrations. So be it. Criticism, negative feedback, comments about LD-related organizations, comments about illogical policies and whatever: it is not welcome here or elsewhere on the forum. Well, then this is my last forum post. My last purchase via CW has already been made and I am strongly considering ending my purchases via LD. Despite approximately 1,000 successful transactions, but given the arbitrariness in policy, the absolute ad infinitum protection of sellers and the outlawing of buyers, I cannot assume that the next thousand times will also go well.
