Ik heb ooit 2 boxen gekocht van een handelaar die een stock had. Beide boxen als nieuw, waarbij alleen deel 1 gesealed was. Net 1 verkocht waarbij dan wel de vraag was waarom die andere delen niet gesealed waren. Ik zie ook op veilingen hetzelfde. Omdat de albums in de box al bijna niet meer er uit te halen vallen, zo strak zit alles,  dacht ik dat de uitgevers / verspreiders wellicht besloten hadden de te krappe box te vullen met niet gesealde exemplaren.  Het is maar een detail maar wel leuk om te weten hoe het zit. Werden die albums ook los verspreid /verkocht ?

I once bought 2 boxes from a dealer who had a stock. Both boxes as new, only part 1 was sealed. Just sold 1 where the question was why the other parts were not sealed. I see the same thing at auctions. Because the albums in the box are almost impossible to remove, everything is so tight, I thought that the publishers / distributors might have decided to fill the box that was too small with unsealed copies. It's just a detail but it's nice to know how it is. Were those albums also distributed/sold separately?

Bij Lekturama kon je het eerste deel als kennismaking (om kopers te lokken) toch altijd heel goedkoop kopen? Daar werden er dan veel meer van gemaakt en misschien zat dat eerste deel daardoor in een ander drukproces dan de rest van de box waardoor het later moest worden toegevoegd? Zoiets denk ik Harry56 

At Lekturama you could always buy the first part as an introduction (to lure buyers) very cheaply? Many more were then made and perhaps that first part was in a different printing process than the rest of the box, so it had to be added later? Something like that I think Harry56

Ik heb het nooit aangedurfd dat gesealde exemplaar te openen, wellicht is dat toch wel handig om te kijken of er verschillen zijn met de andere albums/omnibussen. En wie weet zit er nog een flyertje in of zo. De klokken zijn overigens ook heel leuk, 1 staat er in onze badkamer en die is nog steeds accuraat..

I never dared to open that sealed copy, it might be useful to see if there are differences with the other albums/omnibuses. And who knows, maybe there's a flyer in there or something. The clocks are also very nice, 1 is in our bathroom and it is still accurate..

Ik denk niet dat de verkoopwaarde veel minder wordt als er maar 1 boek in de box in de seal zit en je het seal daar dan van afhaalt. Als alles nog in de seal zat was het een ander verhaal lijkt me.

I don't think the sales value will be much less if there is only 1 book in the box in the seal and you remove the seal from that. If everything was still in the seal, it would be a different story I think.
