# 8579699 Try again or anyone knows an avid collector of cyclist pictures? I have about 400 (2 types) with text at the back and without text on the back. Dimensions are 50x27 with text + 50x 25 without text on the back (but numbered on the front). If anyone can help me send mail to: ghyoot.patrick@gmail.com thank you!

What is on the back of this picture?

mierke
Assuming that R. Gyssels participated in cycling races from 1927 to 1936, you can assume that this a 1930s picture, unless that time span is too early with regard to album pictures / trading cards issues.

With the words Romain Gijssels cromo you come a long way in the direction of cycling enthusiasts.

The text below found via those 3 words (and a few mouse clicks to the relevant pages):

Series 2:

Not numbered
First name (not, complete, abbreviated or initial) Name
At the bottom of the name: nationality in French - Dutch

On the back :

First name Last name. Birthplace and date. Short description in French and Dutch

Colored pictures. Initial or name and surname, underneath nationality in 2 languages. Name riders plus list of honor in 2 languages on back.

Q. Black and white photos. Last name and sometimes also first name or letter. Blank back.
R. As long as Q colored. Belongs to Q?

Good luck with the search.
